Was the "Beef" with Benzino and Eminem geniune or some clout shid? From my understanding Benzino was trying to release some vids and tapes with the Real Slim Shady on it.

I think it was genuine 100% they was not getting along at all. The Source had nothing to gain from the beef, Benzino lost his credibility behind it.

They did drag Benzino. That's true.I didnt look at it like that.I heard his involvement but without research I thought he was an editor or something. Thats kinda the way they describe him in some articles or docs i seen

Benzino was the owner of The Source Magazine. Eminem was upset and said he never got 5 mics in the source because he’s White. That’s what kicked everything off.

Yeah but he was salty. But just based off history a Black publication should be very cautious about giving a White person a perfect score in any Black art.

Eminem beefed with XXL too initially. Thing is he never even got the five mics even after they looked back, and I don't think he even got an XXL rating. I'm never gonna deny his skill but he'll always be kind of polarizing because he's white.

He also started out dissing Christina Aguilera and Tom Green, he made himself a joke in many respectful communities.
