I don’t believe it should be a dictatorship, that’s how you end up with a family that resents you. To be a strong leader you have to be able to listen to those in your care and  adjust your behaviors when necessary. I feel like sometimes you have to make an executive decision and say “this is what we are going to do” but if you do that all the time your family will hate you.
