When Elon Musk polled Twitter users about whether to reinstate former President Donald Trump’s account, he quickly followed through on the majority’s wish to do so. “Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” he pronounced via tweet, Latin for “the voice of the people is the voice of God.”

Elon Musk played anybody who voted in that poll like a sucker. He already had his new Twitter CEO in pocket, but he used the poll to create engagement and buzz before he makes the formal announcement.



Once the new CEO is announced, the stock price should jump.

He is going to. He never planned on staying as the CEO. I think he just wanted to get the information out there. I am glad he is doing what he is with the FBI bull and the government lies but I still don't trust him. I want Twitter to be a free and open space for everyone or bust. I don't want anything in between. From where I am sitting, the latter is better.

People were making jokes cause the dude Tom who owned MySpace all those years ago put in a bid to be CEO. I lost it when I heard about that LOL I remember having a profile on there. Times were so much more simple.

I figured I would just post it in this thread.

I saw something about him making Twitter opensource and he plans on doing it. I don't know when but when he does, I think people are going to be shocked by how stupidly simple the code is and how rigged the algorithm was to manipulate people.
