Where are the other Black people (with more talent and creativity) who own their own studios like Tyler Perry does? Where is their exposure? Even when Tyler Perry gives Black people jobs and gigs they're often still under and attached to him. It's like how Drake allegedly hired (or tried to hire, like The Weeknd) singers (DVSN, PartyNextDoor, and more) to work in his OVO sweatshop to neutralize competition.

I was just about to write that. SKG is now a global movie studio, Spielberg, Katzenburg and Geffen. They are about as different personalities as you can have but they knew they could be far more successful working together than apart. Each brought their own unique skillset.
