I think what happened here is another case of the broken system. Tyre may have had drugs on him and got pulled over. He resisted and took off to get rid of the drugs cause a drug charge could be 3 to 5 years and fleeing, resisting can mean 3 to 5 months. I can't see any reason why the dude could have or would have been doing any worse than that and being that he was a young father, I can't blame him for taking his chance on less of a charge.

The cops took it upon themselves to use it as an opportunity to teach him a lesson. All the cops that showed up that night have 6 years or less experience. I believe 3 of the 5 were hired since 2020 and after there was a push to defund the police.

I have a theory that because of the race quotas for hiring black cops, the $15,000 sign on bonus, and the desperation... they were hiring almost anyone that wanted the job and didn't do any kind of background check on these men. They made it so you just need basic work experience. Education did not matter either. They were hiring cops they knew would likely target and "get rid" of young black men on the streets.

There is a real problem when 5 grown ass black men feel the need to beat a young black father to death.

Someone at work was talking about this over the weekend saying there are signs the main dude in the pack of 5 was looking for revenge and it makes sense that someone like Tyre would be targeted over something like this. I looked into his background. Dude was clean, he wasn't some thug messing on the streets, he was just a dude who liked to skate and worked at FedEx! He seemed like a sweetheart and the ex was jealous. I have heard of cops doing this before so if true, would not surprise me.

It doesn't sound plausible. During the video Nichols doesn't seem like he knows any of them or mention 'is this about _____'.
It could be true but on the face of it, it doesn't sound plausible.

Why are they hiding his identity? We know the answers but I need that Chief and Memphis Police Department to say the reason. I call this another case of cognitive dissonance. I hear so many people outraged about this story but they're not looking at the root of it. From our favorite YouTube personalities to White media, they only continue to dig in the past of the five black officers and the black chief but they will not go deep enough into the two white officers past and transgressions.

Neither white officer has been arrested and they keep saying he was relieved of duty. I will be making another phone call to the Memphis Police department to find out when that officer will be arrested and when both officers will be arrested. Preston we coming for your ass!

The truth will come out eventually.

Either way, a lot of these black cops that were hired after 2020 did not go through proper screening cause these cities were desperate for workers. A lot of white ones quit and there were racial quotas they wanted to fill so they likely hired some thug dudes that have no issues beating down young black men.

I think cops have a place in society but the way they run, operate, get trained, get hired, etc. needs to change. We should have to elect them and sign off on them being police in our areas. A lot of cops move in from out of town or even state and no one knows who the hell they are and because there is a disconnect with the community (i.e. they didn't grow up there) they have much less issue treating people like trash.

Tyre Nichols' Rumored Connection to Cop's Ex-Wife Under Investigation

They are looking into the possibility that Tyre was sleeping with someone he should not have been sleeping with and the main cop that lead the beatings was looking to get even. I mean I said it before, there looked like there was some kind of motive here. It is pretty damn rare to find a black cop let a lone a group of them just targeting one individual black man to beat the living piss out of him. I know this kind of thing happens but it is rare.

I think there is more to this story for sure. Things seemed odd about it from the jump. Either way, I hope his family and loved ones are doing okay. Even if he was banging someone else's wife (or ex-wife) he did not deserve to die because of it. It takes two to tango.

The current rumor is the victim worked at Fed Ex and the wife or ex wife of one of the cops worked there.

If that is so, it explains a lot. But rumors at this point. But if so, its a push back with the wild narratives being banded about.

One thing to remember we have to get out of our mind that is that we don't "own" the people we're with or the people we've dated ,that mentality is so silly and out dated people think for themselves and are going to do whatever they wish whether it be moral or not. We can't control the ones we love that's not healthy at all and that's some shit we just have to chalk up to the game. If the rumors turn out to be true then the charges should be upgraded to first degree murder as this was all premeditated!

I stay away from the number of people killed by cops argument because it can be used to gaslight us. I focus only on the unjustified ones. If a guy is about that life shooting at a cop and the cop kills him, and that is part of 200 or whatever the number is, I've heard Larry Elder and them use specific cases to gaslight. We gotta stick to specific cases of murder and unequal treatment. For example, cops who can bring in a white guy doing one thing illegal but kills a black guy for the same exact action.
