Not that unusual for this time of year, more to do with the coverage of snow and its extent. Certain parts of the UK, specifically western Scotland, Northern England, and the hill parts of Wales, get it on a semi regular basis. However, more parts of the country are getting hit. And as mentioned in the thread, the UK is shockingly bad when it involves dealing with snow.


Example, they are slow to grit the roads. This is basic. Public transport comes to a halt.
