Hell no he did the right thing. She had that nigga’s number in her phone with the name “Fire extinguisher, break during emergency” and she did exactly that. He did the right thing by valuing himself and setting a boundary.

She got herself in that spot probably messing around with downlow and sleepy dudes and being hard headed and so she got put out. Women like her need to feel the consequences of their bad choices.

Simps bail these hoes out too much and they never learn how to become good people. I’m glad he did what he did.

Playing devil's advocate. What about the kids? They didn't do anything wrong. Could you sleep knowing they will literally be outside in the cold?

He didn’t have those kids so it’s not his problem. Her kids are in the cold due to her actions not his.

One of the best lessons you can learn early on in life is that people will try to use you. They will pretend to be your friend or prospective lover to get what they want and when you’re tapped out they are gone.

One of the most valuable things you have is your time. Somewhere in the hierarchy of valuables is your skill set. If you want my time and skill sets for your own gain you need to give me something in return, CASH!

Now how does that apply here? That brotha has a car and a place to stay most likely because he trades his time and skill for cash and uses the cash to pay for transportation and shelter.

She is making an emotional appeal to him to get him to give her the transportation and shelter FOR FREE. Which at face value is not wrong but let’s look at the context…

He was romantically attracted to her and she wasn’t. In those situations, the woman holds the power and can dangle a carrot in front of a man’s face to get him to do what she wants. SOME women will have a whole starting lineup of guys in her phone that she uses in this manner.

Historically when women like this ask one of the guys for something, they come running because they believe it’s an opportunity for romance. So that 4AM text was her trying to flex her power on this brotha, trying to exploit the fact that he is attracted to her. She probably texted 5 dudes and got 5 no’s so she went for the hail mary, this dude.

She doesn’t care for him, wouldn’t pick him up if he had a flat tire or anything. She just needs to a place to stay but since she has no cash she is trying to leveraging the one thing she has..her attractiveness.

But attractiveness is like dry ice, it second that passes you have less of it. She tried to come at that brotha like she was the dry ice block he was chasing in high school…and she found out she wasn’t.

He dodged a bullet for sure. Some states won’t even let you kick someone out if they’ve been there more than 30 days. It would be an L to have to go to court to evict a single mom and her kids that ain’t related to you and don’t FWU.

Never do it in that situation. I date single mom/ Women with kids s and I have no problem with that but that's definitely a woman who is a user. She's only interested because she needs something and unless you want her screwing every one else on the side. That's a HELL no. You'll miss out on opportunities with better women trying to wear a cape. That's a classic case of taking someone for granted. It's not even cold hearted it's just respecting yourself and your worth. Why doesn't she have friends or family she can turn to?

He did the right thing in this situation. That's a big sign she was only intending to use the guy. She knew he liked her, and was going to use that to her advantage to get him to let her and her kids stay. Good on him for standing his ground and saying no. And it doesn't even sound like she's given him the time of day otherwise.

I get that it's a sucky situation, but she's an adult and has to find another place to stay. He is not responsible for those kids, and he shouldn't feel obligated to take them in either.

Not wrong at all. He owes her nothing. She didn't want nothing to do with him until she needed something from him. This dude is just trying to enjoy his life, work, and provide for himself. I hope he meets a woman who will value him and they can have children together.
