I prefer digital myself. Cassettes over time eventually wear out and it affects the quality of the music IMO, lots of my father’s cassette tapes would often sound terrible because they were worn down from play and age. I’m not fond of the crackling that vinyls produced during playback, and you need to store them in cooler areas otherwise they can get warped. CDs have higher quality sound than cassette tapes and vinyls but they’re prone to scratches and even cd rot. As long as you download your songs you don’t have to worry about streaming platforms removing your favorites, that’s why I prefer digital.
