It is all corporatism laced with "good feelings". If I celebrate any holiday, I make it about family and we do it our own way. I don't know how people fall for it year after year and go into debt because these old white farts want people spending their hard-earned money just because they declared it a holiday. It is just another example of chains holding people down. They need people in debt and struggling and they want them happy to be doing it. They make bank convincing people they need to spend their money. It isn't just an issue with holidays, they do this for everything. It is marketing manipulation and I swear this came straight from Nazi Germany.
