Actually national socialist germany fought against this kind of shyt but i hear you. And i love that you said do it our own way like instead of everyone buy shyt for everyone maybe you do a secret santa thing and only buy for one person. And on bdays the family all puts their love into one present like the natives did. But yes we need to find happiness outside of bullshit because like you said they want us in debt. Debt slavery is the current crisis that we face.
