I noticed this growing up that any of the "black dolls" just looked like they were white girls painted black and that was it. They all had the same hair and the same structure to them. I am all for black dolls, baby dolls, etc. being an option and welcome it but these items need to be made by black folks or they will just be nothing but a cash grab.I think this is the reason so many black women in America today hate their natural hair too and get wigs and weaves cause they grew up seeing and playing with these dolls. Same thing with the white girls growing up with barbie and having unrealistic beauty standards about their bodies.I am sure this industry is sicker than we even know. I mean there were those surprise doll things that were girls but if you took their dresses off they had penises.
