Sam Smith came out as gay right after "Stay With Me" back around 2014. However, outside of the media, nobody really seemed to care. After all, Elton John and George Michael made history before he even entered grade school. I guess Sam Smith realized jusr being gay is too boring these day and nothing really special. So like many others, he decided to whore for some more attention and publicly come out as "non-binary" and identify as "they/them". For a lot of these snowflakes, being gay or lesbian just isn't enough anymore. Either that, or they are being convinced to switch genders and transition from a young enough age. Some worry that this is slowly beginning the erasure of femme gay / bi males and butch / soft butch / AG / andro lesbians or bi females with a preference for coochie.
