You would literally have to be all-knowing to know if they are objectively more prevalent.The fact that it wasn't so much in your awareness before but now it is is literally it standing out. If you are in a pitch black room with one light, the light is going to stand out. Yes it simply exists but it also stands out. "This thing is different from the abundance of the other thing." It's going to stand out. That's just the way our brains work. We don't have control over this.
