I watched Stephen A the other day break down Tank/Garcia in a clip on YouTube. I don't watch ESPN but it showed up in my feed. I know we all have the right to break down sports but boxing is different.

Most people can't last a 3 minute round with minimal pressure of another fighter punching back. Hell most can't run them hands on a heavy bag for more than a round. Add the fact that these men and women are in front of thousands/millions of people is an added layer of pressure.

Boxing is different, especially when you step in that ring. The more I do in it, the more I respect it. In boxing, fatigue makes cowards of us all!

One of the things I have noticed is that in street fights or school fights, so many of them only last several seconds (I'm talking about swinging) with the rest of the fight consisting of holding, pulling hair, scratching, tackling, stomping, etc. This shows how most people are not prepared to take on a trained boxer.

Fr. Also add that someone else is trying to tuck you in, gives a whole different dimension. Boxing is no joke!

I agree with what you are saying. Being a boxer requires so much work.

I agree. In a street fight folks are swinging for the stars. With a boxing match, you can't do that. You have to preserve your energy for the long run.
