Mixed feelings on this one. I wouldn't want my daughter unbraiding his air. He says the parents were okay with it. My guess? And its only a guess. They were single moms who said it was okay. I can't really see a father, step father, even mom's bf being okay with a girl doing that.

It has weirdo vibes. It has grooming vibes. That said, I wouldn't doubt he's a positive influence on them. My guess is these girls don't have any father figures.

Lastly, we (Blacks) are desperate for Black men to teach in predominantly Black schools. I had a handful growing up. Middle and High School. None in elementary school. I would love to see a program where we recruit Black men to teach from elementary (start that male energy early) school and pay them well enough to make it financially viable for them to do it. We have more than enough sisters. They are great, needed and got mad love for them. But the truth is too many Black girls grow up with next to no authoritative / father figure black males. Single mother homes, biological father isn't involved. From K-12 no black male teachers...except maybe gym class...maybe. Young folks aren't going to church so no pastor or deacon and the few either don't have time or you may not him around a daughter. If they go to college, no black male professors unless they go to an HBCU. I'd love to see someone like an Oprah, Robert Smith do that instead of donation to Spelman or Morehouse. If you are a black student who has made it to an HBCU you already got a winning mindset. I'd like to instill that in the 8, 9 and 10 year olds with thorough black men through out their lives.

Long term these girls will likely not choose a pookie or ray ray and you'll reduce pookies and ray rays. Instead of firing him, I'd had rather the school district reprimand him and set boundries. But that's me.

This is Maria Felipa de Oliveira, the Black Woman Who Helped Brazil Gain Independence. She was one of 3 women that participated in the struggle for Bahia's independence in Brazil in 1823.
Overall she led around 200 resistance fighters using guerrilla tactics (mostly Blacks and indigenous women). They continued to fight until the last Portuguese troops left the country on July 2nd, 1823.
Maria Felipa continued her life as a fisherwoman - She was admired by the people of her island and all over Brazil. She died on January 4, 1873.



If you go all over the world where Black people are, there are tons of stories where we fought. History won't say it, many of these stories are consciously eliminated from history.

There were 1000s of small revolts throughout the south. 100s of slave owners carefully poisoned over time by the women who knew root magic and herbs, both good and poisonous herbs. Same in the Caribbean. White owners who were cruel, pedophiles, rapists, whatever. Also, even in Africa there were people who fought. Tribes who were only defeated because they lacked modern weapons of the day but had more heart than the enemy and stronger in hand to hand combat.

Vivek took it like a prison block b***h right there, no push back. Then afterwards gets angry on twitter. I've been lucky to do a fair amount of traveling. I can say unequivocally, generally speaking, Indians are the most racist. They treat Africans like sh*t and if they think you are African, they might try you.

If they hear an American accent they kiss up to you a little because you are white America adjacent and they assume you got money if you are traveling.

There are only 2 Indian "liberals". Ro Khanna, Cali congressman and if you want to count her, Kamala. The rest are far right wing racists. Nikki Haley, Dinesh Disouza, Vivek, former Louisiana Jindal. They go extra hard against Blacks. They do that to be accepted by white folks. It's the Irish strategy in the 1800s. If White people don't consider you white, go extra hard on Blacks to prove yourself. Some of these Indians (Jindal, Nikki Haley, etc) have given up their religion (Hindi) and became Christian in order to prove themselves. Imagine being so desperate you give up your religion?

TBA did a thing on it. Truth is though, Shaq was smashing all kinds of chicks openly in LA. I literallly saw him in a big black SUV once with some chick near Westwood (UCLA's campus). I have a home girl who modeled whose friend was seeing him and ran into them at Beverly Center (LA people will know this).

Black Republicans figure out at some point, sooner or later, that they can't keep their self respect. They'll have to make a choice. Some do it gladly, some do it under great emotional strain. It depends on the ethics and morals you came in the game with.
Tim Scott fancied himself a moral person at one time and to some extent maybe does. He had to make a choice when the Trump train came in. Stick to the ethics of what the Republican party was supposed to be about (and hasn't lived anywhere near to what that is) or give up his self respect so he can still have a career?

He chose the latter. The man is broken. Fully buck broken. It has to hurt bad coming from the deep south, the soil and knowing he has given up every once of his self respect and slapped in the face of his ancestral heritage. We've seen it from Jesse Lee Peterson, and other domestic coons. We've seen it from foreign coons in America.

Tim Scott is broken. No where to go. The one thing about Trump, he's forced every single Black conservative to show their real face. Michael Steele, former RNC chair, black, at least stuck to his morals and repudiated Trump. I don't agree with him politically but at least he gave up his place in the party to keep some semblance of his self respect. Tim Scott couldn't and didn't.

I have my own view that is a bit different than his take. There are obviously great Black women out there. This site is full of them. So, saying you can't find a good sista is kinda BS. It may be a little harder these days than your grand mother's time but they are out there.

My thoughts are these D1 Black athletes aren't dating the church sistas, the goody two shoes ones, however they are dating the good two shoes white women who have a freak side on the low. They date black women based on how good their body is banging and date white women who have girl next door personalities and will literally do anything.

Magic, LeBron, Steph Curry, Randall Cunningham, all kinds of athletes married to sisters and stayed married for years.
