Janelle Monae Float Review

I really have been an electric lady fan since she tipped on the tightrope although the past year she's been flaky.... I see you get into the lyrics like myself so if you look over her past lyric she'll see she's ALL about self-acceptance and not really following the trends.

It wasn't a bad song. The song has potential. To me, it just came off half-baked.

Love the production. The lyrics..eh. Just sounds like a demo track from 5yrs ago off the cutting room floor from Jidenna's album. Like literally, replace her voice and Jidenna, same result.

The only reason I keep an eye on Janelle's albums is because she gave us Metropolis:The Chase, a classic, in hopes she'll be able to deliver another mind-blowing album. Time will tell.
