Have you ever done an all-nighter when you got that new game you were looking forward to forever now? I remember a few times playing Call of Duty with friends until the morning hours. These days I can't do it anymore, but back then I was all for it. Do you guys still pull any all-nighters when you get a new game? Or maybe go back to a classic? What games did you have all-nighters in?

Ever do an all-nighter?
Oh for sure. With no saves, you had to beat it in one sitting or start over. I never had an all-nighter to any classics like that, well, maybe Super Mario World on the SNES. But I think it was more to do with a friend being over and I was having fun and didn't want to go to bed early.
Before Call of Duty, I pulled a few all-nighters playing GTA 3, San Andreas and Vice City as well. Forgot to mention that.

My best friend and I used to stay up all night playing games and then go to school in the morning lol I don't know how I did it. Now if I miss an hour of sleep, I'm a zombie all day haha
Ah damn dude, hell yeah! I loved me some Goldeneye 64 when I was a kid. I sucked bad at it, but it was a blast trying to beat my older brother who I thought was a master at it. That and Mario Kart 64 back then.
Yeah it's nearly impossible to do an all-nighter these days. I would like to get some vacation time set to have a LAN party or something like that with the guys I used to game with back in high school. We talked about doing something soon, and I thought maybe getting some classic COD games and having an all night and day party just playing the earlier Call of Duty games. We played those games for years growing up. Good times!
I did that many times too, was always a bad idea the next day, but damn I wouldn't change it. I'm more of a night owl myself, but if I don't get my sleep, I don't do well the next day haha.
We used to play facility with gold PP7s that was straight up crack. Then we did Halo MLG rules. The good ol’ days.

I don't think I've pulled an all-nighter since Wolfenstein: The New Order came out. I'm too old anymore for those....I miss being able to do it sometimes tbh though lol
OMG did you ever play Return to Castle Wolfenstein? I loved that game so much. I was hooked on it. Wolfensten The New Order was also super dope, I loved the story. I didn't play any of the other ones though especially the one with the two dumb girls.

I didn't play return to castle wolfenstein though I do believe i have it somewhere on one of my jump drives with my dosbox stuff because of that fact. I want to play the other ones just because I need to follow the story so I have them in my GameQ on Gamefly.
The stories connect in the same way Mario 3 connects to Super Mario World. BARELY.

I remember One of my first all niters, when the internet dropped.We got AOL in 1998. I got on one afternoon.And got off bout 30 hours later.Literally.My family was in and out the room where i was and they didnt say anything.But thats when I learned how powerful the internet is.I havent had a gaming all nighter since High school tho.

Same. I've been thinking of just taking a few days off and setting up a weekend to game with friends. Most of my friends don't game much anymore, but I think they'd be into taking a weekend to game again.
That's fair haha. Sometimes there's nothing else to do too, so I get that. And same, I am on a good sleep schedule right now, so I would have to set time off to even be able to do it. Otherwise my sleep schedule will be all messed up.
Oh yeah, I had many all nighters when I first got the internet. Had AOL as well, but I remember going to sites like Newgrounds growing up, and just playing tons of flash games until late. I stayed up late to the point that I would see my dad getting home from work early in the morning.
Yeah, I can't afford to mess it up either at this point cause I am finally on a stable schedule (for the most part) with work. I don't want to get to a place where my sleep gets butchered again and I have no energy for anything outside of work.
