I just read a good article about this issue. I first noticed the schism between FBA kids and Black immigrant kids in high school in Brooklyn. I noticed it the most with Haitian kids.

What are your thoughts on the manner in which Black immigrants come to America, exploit the work of FBAs for their gain and remain detached from the FBA history, experiences and pain? I personally am torn. On one hand, I hate to see any Black person suffer. On the other hand, I have no desire to lock arms with any Black person born abroad who feels more kinship with European descendants than us. The Haitian Border Crisis is a good example.

Part of this is our previous generations fault for not checking these people paperwork consistently through the decades and not allowing them to roam around like sleeper cells. Now we have the burdensome duty to draw the line and hold it. The disappointing part about this that its plays right into our definition of what kuhns/bedwenches are. I am starting to recognize everytime we get right into the economic repair that is owed, the import negros have an opinion. I am also beginning to believe this a play being make by the dominant society. The riff between Black Immigrants and Native is when they try to water down our domestic politics with the slave ship trope. These Immigrants will want us to fight their fight on top of ours, meanwhile they have a whole continent they are allowing to go up for invasion by the Arabs, Russians, Chinese and USAID.
