I just attended a wedding yesterday for my niece and it was a fun one. My mother-in-law was fed up about pictures taking too long, and the grooms parents were arguing with my side of the family. It was a ride haha!

What are your feelings on attending weddings? I love going to weddings for the food mostly, but seeing and hangin with the fam is always an added bonus for me. But, I find when we all meet up, arguing ensues, so I only attend weddings for really close fam, because I can't deal with the drama anymore.

I have been to some fun ones and some not so fun ones. I find the smaller ones tend to be better. Once you get a bigger gathering going, something is bound to pop off. I saw a few fights break out.

My older brother's wedding was a good one. He has a smaller wedding and he and my sis in law did it at a park venue. I think there was like 15 of us in total. It was pretty intimate. They had an after-party for everyone not invited to the ceremony. They said they wanted to keep it small to make sure no one or nothing ruins their day and I can't blame them for that.

Now both weddings and funerals are dreadful. I'll show up for an hour maybe but that's it.

I like weddings a lot as long as I care about the couple and think they are a good match. I look at weddings as a celebration of the couple so as long as that's the focal point, I'm good.

I love going to weddings, but being in a wedding is a different story. I was the maid of honor at my friend's wedding and I was stressed out like I was the one getting married! There was so much planning which is not my thing...but it was beautiful in the end.

I don't want to stand in a wedding myself. I thankfully didn't stand in my nieces wedding, because everyone who stood were supposed to do a speech, and I freak out with public speaking, so that's a no go for me. But if I'm in the back observing the wedding, that's something I can do.

I took it too far by having a cute innocent you chic ask older folk for their picture and I jumped in to startle them on the count of two. What made it so bad, is they blamed it on my alcoholism, but I wasn't drunk- because the bartender was putting soooooo much water in those drink, I was BORED. Anyhow, nobody keeps up, they just gossip and move on!

Depending on the couple, depending on the people, it can be fun. You don't know how sensitive folks are until you get them in these kinds of events.

I wouldn't say scared.. startled!! Andddddd I was inconspicuous until the pictures came out!!!! I was 24 and really uninterested in allllllll the formalities.
