I know...I know y'all only concerned about FBA ish..lol..I get it. BUT...black folks of any lineage should not only know what is out there but also places that might provide opportunities and places to stay away from.

This thread is about both. Some of the biggest blowback to reparations come from people that have emigrated to America. That said, they are poor but their economy is growing. This came on my feed. They talk about an Ethiopian guy worth a few hundred million dollars. Coincidentally, he came to America as part of his journey to wealth.

But yea people in the comments are saying Ethiopia is not an Eldorado. It has a lot of poverty.

i watched this the other day. It was interesting. The part about the chinese shoe company was a little hard to watch. smh.
I think Ethiopia is like many other countries, it has their poor parts and their affluent areas. It's annoying when people act like America doesn't have any disgustingly poor living areas.
When I was watching this, I just saw it as another example of capitalism. Capitalism requires a slave class with low wages to operate. And to keep it functional, it has to continually look for ways to find cheaper labor. That's why the Chinese is colonizing Africa.

Anyway, i definitely suggest watching it. There's an Ethiopian community near me and there are pretty cool. They have great food.
I also suggest watching this video. This guy usually shows the better side of African countries he visits. -
