No I wouldn't go that far and say that his actions alone hurt us in the eyes of whites. That was his reaction he has to live with it....the rest of us don't.

He still should not have gone Rogue like that. You don't just walk up on stage and slap somebody just because you don't like what they said. That could have been handled a lot more maturely such as him approaching Chris after the show to air out his grievance... you are correct in saying that...

Is this the first black production team for the Oscars? I admit I don't watch the Oscars I was only interested in it because of all of the controversy surrounding this incident. Will's reaction, in my opinion, just somewhat took away from the good job they did and the other firsts.

Nothing was wrong with the production it's just unfortunatel that this incident had to happen on their watch....that's all I am saying.

Okay thanks for that I didn't know he did that before; but yes I do agree that security would have definitely stopped him before getting on the stage. It just seems really strange to me that security did not escort him out....
