Jeeps aren't built like they used to be. A friend of mine got a Jeep Compass and it has caused her nothing but issues. I can't tell you how much money she put into that thing!

Were they ever built well? Even the Jeeps in the 90’s we’re trash as well. The two door Jeep Wranglers we’re nightmares.

That is fair but I do remember a lot of people driving them in the '90s and no one really complained. My auntie had a Wrangler and from what I remember, she never had issues. Maybe it is just a brand that has a high number of faulty vehicles but some of them end up being solid. At least back then. Not anymore.

I rented one once. The gas mileage on a Jeep is horrible. I had to go out of town and normally I my car only uses a half a tank round trip. With the Jeep, I had to fill it up twice for the same exact trip! Jeeps are complete trash.
