When a politician gets eleceted he chooses the staff which is choosing who to pay.
What interests to put in place.
So of course holding our vote is a powerful form of leverage since it allows us to hold up their checks until they pay us ours.

I feel the complete opposite. If you consider Tariq's talking points BS, then that's you. I LOVE that she stood up and said what she said. Not all of us are eloquent to speak publicly. It's very difficult for most people. I am not sure what exaclty she said that was 'bullshit' if you can get specific.

Maybe the panel means well, but the question Representative Lee and ALL these panels are never asked and what I would love to do is ask them this.
Dr. Claud Anderson has been in this space since at least the '70s. They know who he is. Why is he NEVER included in these panels or discussions?

Nah, I know folks who can't stand Tariq or they don't listen to him and they're asking the same thing this woman asked. These are valid questions that mainstream folks are not asking.

I'm a horrible speaker, but that doesn't have anything to do with asking the same dead end question about Ukraine and this supposed money Asians got.

If 20 trillion is just the starting point then they are going to have to do "studies " on what way to distribute that.

I think you got it wrong bruh, with all due respect.
First, they have never heard it face to face. I assume they heard it via internet from her but it NEEDS to be said face to face. It's far more powerful that way. These politicians and that crowd tune out social media. When the people turn up, its far more effective.

Second, I think you misunderstand what Rep Lee's bill is. It's not a study to determine how much to pay. It's a study to determine if reparations should be paid in the first place. Completely different. We know it should be paid. I would agree on a committee to address the exact number and who gets it, but we aren't even at that point yet.
