Yeah, if you are a Black American, and you can’t see the steps they are taking to ‘put us in our places’, then you are deliberately ignoring reality. Some of our people’s refusal to fight back is just like that of these black migrants who are so scared of being deported, that they will keep quiet and take any abuse.
WE ARE NOT MIGRANTS.
WE ARE AMERICAN CITIZENS.
WE BUILT AMERICA.

You (collectively) did, and all of us who are Black and in America, no matter from where, should also strive to white supremacy because its both domestic and global.

That's the problem. Too many black folks period not tryna fight or worse, helping white supremacy.

Black parents also need to be more vigilant about supervising our children. There are a number of different scenarios that could've played out there are actually way worse. They could've hauled him off to jail or even worse disappeared him...and who knows, a person impersonating a cop would've kidnapped and trafficked this kid. Only now as an adult and a father, do I truly understand how vulnerable me and my young siblings and cousins were as latch key kids. Its a little unnerving to think about, honestly.

70 to 80 percent or whatever single mom headed, we are easy pickings. How many times you see black kids hemmed up in viral videos and there is a black father? Rare.

Black families were targeted specifically post Civil Rights. Even white folks accept that the welfare state got expanded to us (Blacks in America) and it destroyed the Black family.

It's a hard fight back. The media, etc are all promoting things that keeps the black family disunited. When was the last tv show where you saw a 'normal, functioning traditional black couple'?
That ended in the '90s and early '00s. Its coming back but its tough. Externally you got white liberals pushing black women only and saying black men are the problem. Internally you got black female sell outs like Cyn G and divestors saying we are 'bullet bags', we prefer white women, we are dysfunctional as a collective.

Part of the problem is Black peoples are being corralled into a reactive way of thinking, as opposed to proactive and preemptive. Also like Tariq was most astute to point out, they were likely followed there for the purpose of that harassment. At this point, I’m wondering what G’damn media these people are watching when they don’t already have their head on a swivel for such things…
