I stumbled onto this series a few days ago, the trailer for it looked pretty good so I gave it a go. It starts off slow, really slow but after a few episodes, it started to get interesting. It's a mix between sci-fi, thriller, and mystery. The lead character is pretty good, the concept is odd but original, never really seen a movie/show about cults, aliens, and different dimensions, oh yeah, and human sacrifice.
If you are bored and can't find anything to watch, give this a try. It's a series so you'll have to wait after burning through the first season.
