Ever think we'll see new teams added into the NFL?

There was rumors a while back that the NFL wanted to add more teams. I honestly would love to see more teams added to the NFL, but for states that don't yet have any teams. Do you think we'll get to a point where we'll add a few more teams to the NFL? Or do you think they will stick to the 32 teams they have now?

Someone at work brought this up a few days ago saying they can add more but not a lot of places want to front the money for it. Like if you have a city that wants a team, it is cheaper to buy the team's franchise than start a new one cause you have to straight up build a stadium, make merch, buy all kinds of licenses, pay a bunch of money for zoning... it is a lot

I haven't heard anything but it probably will happen because you see the expanded schedule is already a thing, plus there's so many celebrities and rich folks who want in on ownership, an expansion team can be their easy path
I think that expansion is the USFL, in my opinion.

Maybe like the NHL, MLB and NBA and have Canadian teams but the CFL is fairly popular up there. But its a natural progression. Possibly a deal to make one big North American league and incorporate the CFL but there will have to be rule changes.

Less chance of a team in Mexico. Some states are football crazy but have no team (Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, South Carolina).
