Me wondering how someone managed to steal a whole toilet...

No cameras? Guards/Police? Inside job? Insurance fraud?
Apparently, they never found the toilet and no one has been charged. From a 2021 article:

Just the optics is bad. Gold is supposed to be valuable, and then you 💩 into it (in reference to the clip, the toilet is an art installation but you get the point).

Gold and silver are definitely valuable. I hope folks don't mess up the value.
