It's still hard to believe that Chadwick Boseman died nearly a year ago. The fact that no one really knew he was going through cancer was crazy to me. He hid that really well and I didn't notice anything different about him. But when he died, I was totally shocked. I didn't see it coming.

Anyway, with him now gone, there has been rumors that his sister in the movie will take over as the new Black Panther. Do you like this idea? I do, I think it's a great way to keep the movies going, and they can always go to side stories with the other characters in that world.

What do you guys think? I'm glad they didn't recast his character.

I really don’t have an answer on this one…it’s such a difficult position for the studio to be in. I’m just going to wait and see how it turns out. I may not even see it, Marvel is milking the hell out off super hero movies.

I don’t understand why they can’t re-cast the role and give somebody else a chance to shine. I feel like Black Panther 2 is gonna get made cause they were already set to make it then they gone throw Wakanda in the bushes and keep it moving.

it’s probably easier for the storyline to go this way. My two cents.

I just have to disagree. There are so many storylines that can be explored by by not re-casting and simply shooting off into a different line. Putting a different actor into the same role would feel odd.

Yeah I’ve heard the rumors about his sister taking the role over and I think it’s a good idea. Doesn’t that go with the comic book story line? It seems like I heard that at one point. I hope they’re able to figure out a way to make it work because it was one of my favorites.
