Keep Eating At Popeyes
DC is a hot mess. You pay so much to live there and the place is crawling with health code violations, public safety issues, and crime. I would not live there if someone paid me to. I haven't eaten at a popeyes in a good 10 years now. I am so good on it. I am cutting out more and more fast-food cause of stuff like this. That and the food isn't good for us anyway.

As someone who has worked in many mid to upscale restaurants (I never worked fast food, though), I can honestly say that the vast majority of dining establishments have a similar story.
No matter what your favorite fancy restaurant costs, or how clean the dining area is, if you went into the kitchen or storage areas, you'd be disgusted.

Yeah that's true. One of the big upscale restaurants around here had a recent violation for roaches in the kitchen. I remember reading the comments on the story and everyone was saying you would have a hard time finding a kitchen without roaches in it

I've dealt with rodents multiple times in two different restaurants I worked at(Outback and a local one that they eventually closed). The rat actually ran across the FOH at Outback one time during a shift to where I had to work one whole side by myself. Needless to say it didn't scare the customers away. That was one of the Moy bizarre things I've ever seen.
Those annual franchise fees Popeyes get is money in the bank.

That is just all kinds of wrong. This is something people should be rewarded for. Like imagine someone called out your favorite food joint for rats, he'd be getting praised!
True he should have known but still, it is messed up. That man is a hero of the public in that area. I can't imagine the state of everything upon further inspections.

He went wrong when he started clout chasing. He should have dropped the dime anonymously and kept it pushing. Instead this nigga wanna get on camera like he the health inspector and put his employer in a bad spot. If I'm in the restaurant business in that area I would not want this tattle tale nigga in my store. He gonna be looking around trying to find a reason to put my kitchen on the map for more clout.

You could be right. I still think he did a good thing and just went about it the wrong way. As you said, he should have recorded it and handed it over to someone else. Like maybe get a local news station involved. They eat that stuff up.
Yeah he did the right thing for sure but I can see why he got fired too. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
