Facts they locked us up behind all this shit and then want to lock us out when it’s legal. The USA’s beef with us is eternal. That's exactly what's happening. Meanwhile, Berner wasn't given a greenlight to go national using Hip-Hop culture as stepping stone. What's really going to happen here is that Black men will be priced out and the industry collapses as a result. The small business aspect of cannabis is being lost so celebrities & their white business partners can shape the industry with the help of corrupt politicians.
Of course. I wouldn't expect anything from these states.A Black cannabis entrepreneur named Jason Teal is combating the state of Connecticut because of its weed license price tag. The price tag is $3 million dollars which was set by the state cannabis board. Mr. Teal doesn't have a problem paying the 3 mil, his problem is why should he have to. He lives in area that was designated a social equity impact zone. $3 million ‘price tag’ for social equity applicants criticized; CT retail sales of cannabis expected by 2023.
Of course. We need real power so we can stop this stuff.Facts they locked us up behind all this shit and then want to lock us out when it’s legal. The USA’s beef with us is eternal.
People are used to oppression and won't fight it.From reading this thread, looks like you all get it. This is one of the most blatant damned if you, damned if you don't, circular, white supremacy things I've ever seen.
Most blacks in jail or on drug charges, the majority of those are pot. They legalize and price blacks out. States that legalize it like California have a law saying if you are a former felon you can't essentially leaving out those that not only were punished for something they now say is not wrong but keeping those who know the industry out.
Circular white supremacy. You don't need a 3 million dollar to open a business that sells liquor or a state license costing 3 million to open a CVS pharmacy. This is blatant and the question is why is a state with a Democrat governor and majority Democratic state legislature and is about 9.5% black not put under pressure for that? Why aren't any of the blacks in that state making a big stink out of it can putting people on blast?
