People only treat you the way you allow yourself to be treated , if you give them the power and then they turn around to abuse it you can't blame anyone but those who didn't see through all the reg flags and still voted them in.
I haven't come across any of such behaviors though I know there some black people who are still racist and wouldn't want to do anything with a fellow black person but that's their cup of tea and I wouldn't want to do anything with Those kind of people either.

Queens has a large black populace living there, in my opinion every part has its own fair share of racism you just haven't encountered one yet or maybe you have a couple of times.
