Memorial Day was started by former slaves on May, 1, 1865 in Charleston, SC to honor 257 dead Union Soldiers who had been buried in a mass grave in a Confederate prison camp. They dug up the bodies and worked for 2 weeks to give them a proper burial as gratitude for fighting for their freedom. They then held a parade of 10,000 people led by 2,800 Black children where they marched, sang and celebrated.

YuGiOh takes brave stance of requesting basic hygiene in competitions

It’s so bad that certain gaming communities have a rep for being stinkier than others. A Yu-gi-Oh tournament was so bad that the organizer said you would be disqualified if you stank. Lordt.
South Korean police on Friday detained a man who opened a door of an Asiana Airlines plane minutes before it was due to land in the city of Daegu, causing panic among the passengers, officials said.

If I was on that plane I would have stomped him into a 2D sticker before I let him open that door. 9 people were hospitalized behind it.
Here are some of my favorite Sports programs. But FIRST, a message from our sponsor. Now back to our regularly scheduled post.
1. It is what it is on the Come and Talk 2 Me channel - Hosted by: Cam'ron and Mase. yes the rappers, and THEY. ARE. PHENOMENAL!!! Moderated by: Treasure "Stat Baby" Wilson. (After Episode 3)
My Thoughts: These guys are EVERYTHING, the average black sports fan didn't know they needed. BELIEVEABLE takes, GREAT POINTS. BOTH guys are knowledgeable as shit! Funny and engaging. Once you watch one episode, it'll be hard not to binge the rest.
2. Down and In Sports talk - Hosted by: 6Zeros' very own rm dest and Yadabear .
My Thoughts: AMAZING broadcasts!! Great conversation. Excellent points and content. Diverse topics across ALL sports that keep you engaged EVEN if it's a sport I don't necessarily follow all like that. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!
My Thoughts: Love the vibe of the show, 2 everyday black men just shootin' the shit and choppin' it up about sports. Takes a different approach in their discussion that tackles beyond the surface of just the sport or the athlete.
4. The Pivot Podcast - Hosted By: Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor
My Thoughts: MAN THESE ARE AMAZING INTERVIEWS!!!! They ease you into the actual interview, just by....casually talking and then the next thing you know, the interview is underway and you don't even realize it. Their ability to just simply...."BE" is what keeps you coming back. They intertwine sports, pop-culture, and real life so seamlessly and they aren't TRYING.
A Jamaican vacation property owner has sparked controversy on social media after saying she will no longer offer short term rentals to black Americans because the ones she has hosted have largely been...

TETHER - A word solely attached to those that look like us from abroad but don't identify or respect our Foundational Black American culture. They look like us but disrespect our culture, intelligence, work habits and overall being in this land. They don't recognize the sacrifices we and our ancestors made for all to enjoy and the freedoms and set asides everyone takes advantage of today. They latch on to things we create and then say that they created those very things we created ie CULTURE VULTURES! A TETHER will say we are lazy, loud, violent and don't contribute to society but will be shocked when we say we have over 50,000 patents stolen from us. They will not acknowledge our accomplishments in opening the doors for them to come to this nation and enjoy the fruits of our labor. They will also side with other cultures if it means gaining more access to freedoms that we fought for, but many times don't benefit from.
This is my definition of a TETHER. At this point, there's no coalitions it's just FBA vs. Everybody!!!!
It's beyond the point of making reparations a singular voting issue. I no longer feel like that's the most important issue. It is important and I am for reparations.
Trump is just looking out for himself and trying to avoid prosecution. He's racist but at the end of the day he's just looking out for number one. He isn't likely to pass racist laws.
DeSantis isn't that. He's going to act on his racism. He isn't saying that stuff just to get votes. He believes it.
Reparations are an issue we should fight for.
However I don't think I can just stand by and not vote with someone like DeSantis running. Nor could I of good conscious advise anyone else to. The danger with DeSantis is he's actually intelligent and understands government policy enough to pass anti black racist laws.
And with the current judiciary and Supreme Court line up there is no guarantee that those laws would be overturned.
If this man gets into office we're looking at America turning into apartheid South Africa. I'm just not okay with taking that risk over reparations.
The Moorish World Tv Citizens came across The Real Nathan Daley youtube channel and he was highlighting his trip to the Hidden History Museum.. The Real Nath...
