It always annoys me just a bit when a company posts a job announcement that says competitive wages or competitive salary but then don't post what the salary is.

From my experience when this occurs the wages usually aren't that competitive.

Why not post at least a range? Then the perspective employee can determine if it's competitive or not.

As for me when I go to an interview I'm interviewing the employer too. I want to know about benefits, wages, work hours, and family life and work balance.

Some people walk in with the I'm a good employee and money doesn't really matter. They are afraid to talk about salary upfront for fear of turning the employer off.

Me if they can't talk salary first then there's no need to proceed. It's not like I'm there to do the job for free or for as low a salary as possible.

If the salary isn't what I want then why even waste time talking about anything else?

Does anyone here take part in esports? Maybe you're part of a team, or you play 1v1 style games. I have always wondered if I could be good enough for an esports league. I doubt I have the needed skill to best most of the pros in most of the popular multiplayer games. I could maybe do okay in COD, but that's even a longshot as I haven't gave the series a real play for a long time.

I don't know how you feel about Whoopi Goldberg. I've never been a huge fan of hers, but I don't dislike her either. Anyway, it was reported that she recently came out saying that the holocaust wasn't originally about race.

I kind of agree with her, but also disagree in some ways. Where she is wrong, is that it was always about race. But it wasn't only just about race. The Nazi's didn't just kill Jewish people, they killed blacks, gays, trans, gypsies, and even mentally challenged people. The thing with the Nazi's is that they wanted to get rid of anyone that wasn't German. The Germans wanted the perfect Aryan race, which meant white people with blonde hair/blue eyes. And if Nazi's had won the war, they would have kept going.

What do you think about this? Do you think Whoopi is right in a way? I think the main focus was race, and extending the Nazi power anyway possible. But It was more than just race, they wanted a country that was only German.

Anyone got any "irrational" paranoia that causes you to do certain things as a precaution? For instance, I always give the address next door to my real destination when I'm taking a ride service. It all started around the time when they arrested the golden state killer, I took an uber from somewhere in Sacramento, and as we got into my neighborhood, he kept saying, "this is a nice neighborhood," but something in his voice hit me the wrong way. He started getting nosy, and asked me where i was going. I told him to visit my friend and that it was his place. After that, I stopped putting the correct address into the Uber requests because i don't like folks knowing where I rest.

22 year old Anndel Taylor of Buffalo by way of Charlotte, N.C. was driving home in the storm of the century while leaving work. She got stuck in a snow bank. She tried to reach out for help using social media & even created a final message for her loved ones. This could have been prevented if she was prepared for an emergency. This is very sad but also a lesson to prepare your car with emergency supplies just incase of a super blizzard or what have you. An emergency blanket, some granola bars and extra water could have saved her life. She's not the only one. 28 other people were found dead in their cars trapped during the storm. Don't get caught slipping out here. These types of storms will only increase as the corporate interests continue to deny that creating their useless products is causing climate change. Buffalo New York is becoming a hotbed of Black death as this is the same city that was underseige by white supremacist Peyton Gendron. He murdered 10 grocery shoppers in a targeted & planned ambush. Buffalo is going through it.

The Victim, Mark Coleman, Who is Fighting for His Life and is on Life Support



MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Witnesses describe a vicious, unprovoked attack on a Whitehaven golf course. The victim is now on life support at Regional One while the suspect is a free man on a $5,000 dollar bond.

The Memphis chapter of the NAACP said the Shelby County justice system got it wrong in this case. The group’s demanding upgraded charges and a higher bond for the accused assailant.

When a ball from Mark Coleman’s group landed on the green while Wesley Caldwell’s group was putting, a witness told Memphis Police that Caldwell got so upset he swung his putter at Coleman’s head when he came to retrieve the ball.

The club landed with such force, it cracked Coleman’s skull and caused a brain bleed. As Mr. Coleman battles to live, his friends and family now battle for justice.



In the past week, the local NAACP chapter was shocked to learn the bond for 22-year-old Wesley Caldwell, the man who allegedly hit a man in the head with a golf club on Dec. 3, was just $5,000, even while the victim remained on a ventilator.

“You know, the bond was so low given the past history of the attacker,” NAACP President Van Turner said. “But they didn’t have his full criminal history from DeSoto County, and now they do. Perhaps it will be revisited.”

The Shelby County DA’s Office announced on Dec. 15 that it was taking a closer look into the incident at the NAACP’s request.

Bonds for those cases, and all others in the Shelby County General Sessions Criminal Courts, are decided by 10 judicial commissioners - attorneys who are appointed, not elected, to the job.

When asked why judicial commissioners set bonds instead of the judges, Turner said, “Because there are so many cases that come through Shelby County, the judges would have to be on the bench 24/7.”

A 80 million dollar movie only rakes in 3.5 million dollars over this weekend. Hollywood can't figure out why these star studded big budget movies are failing. I can tell you why.
1. The audience they're trying to target doesn't care about period pieces anymore unless it's the future
2. Younger audiences are more drawn toward fresh ideas & IPs
3. Most people don't care about movies anymore because they're making their own
4. Too many psy ops in movies,especially alternative sexual lifestyles
5. More people are doing outdoor things.
Hollywood has doomed itself by using outdated & uninteresting IPs. Hollywood studios have become lazy while the audience either have home movie theaters or don't watch movies entirely. Hollywood is dying because it has become decentralized.
