Reggae musician Joseph "Jo Mersa" Marley, Bob Marley’s grandson and Stephen Marley’s son, has died at 31.

His representative confirmed his death to Rolling Stone on Tuesday but a cause of death was not immediately disclosed.

Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness shared news of Marley's death on Twitter Tuesday, offering "heartfelt sympathies" to friends and fans.

"His untimely passing at the young age of 31y.o. is a huge loss to the music as we look to the next generation," Holness tweeted.

Jamaican politician and president of the People's National Party Mark J. Golding also tweeted his condolences on Twitter Tuesday, calling Marley "a talented young reggae artiste."

"The loss of a child is a devastating blow no parent should face, my condolences to Stephen & the entire family," Golding added.

I saw some places saying he was found in his car unresponsive and appears to have died from an asthma attack.
I have not found any new updates since I heard about this last night. I don't know if this is true or not.

CNN is running a feel good story about a Black couple that helped a mentally challenged white man from frostbite. The white man became disoriented while leaving his job to go back to his group home. He fell in the snow and started calling for help. So the Black boyfriend literally went out in 3 feet of snow,picked the man up & brought him into his home with the girlfriend. The way it's set up in the article is the Black girlfriend is pretty much the hero for using social media to get some whites with plows to plow the street because the frostbite white guy was turning colors. They mentioned her name several times. The Brotha that went outside, picked another grown man up & carried him in 3 feet of snow name appears only once at the end. Instead of giving them props as a couple they playing minimizing Black men.

This is an odd story. Rapper Theophilus London has been missing according to his family & friends. His family have filed a missing persons report, as they hear he was last seen in Los Angeles. Or that's when they believe they last spoke with him. It's being said he was last officially seen in a Skid Row area on Oct. 15 of this year.

I hope nothing messed up happened. I hope he's just out hiding producing an album or something. But still, it's a scary situation, because anything could have happened. If anything, I hope he's found safe.

I did not see this coming, but Bill Cosby may be touring in the spring/summer of 2023. Cosby was recently released in 2021 as his conviction was overturned by the state Supreme Court.

He recently sat down for a radio interview and announced the plans to go on tour.

The mayor of Buffalo, New York Byron Brown actually attempted to deflect from his administration's failure by speaking about looting. He understands most of his city are poor & don't have a weeks supply of food in their homes. His admin is worried about building a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills instead of fortification of his community against super blizzards. Black mayor's are puppets today. Where are the Marion Barry's??

I don't like this Andrew Tate dude but what he says in this clip is spot on when it comes to modern women. It was a recommended clip on YouTube.

Not all of them are like this but a lot of them are. They put their value in looks and when they are young, they are getting attention of rich and wealthy dudes in their 30s and 40s (sometimes older) and it inflates their ego so they keep riding it. Until they enter their 30s and see all the attention shift away from them back onto women in their 20s. As they get older, they become spiteful of younger women, even for just existing not having done anything at all.

I didn't grow up on social media and I don't live on it now even. I have gotten approached by an NFL player once on Twitter asking me to come over. I had a boyfriend at the time and declined. It made me feel good though being noticed. I know how these women must feel but it has to mess you up for life getting attention for doing virtually nothing.

Our brother RCNAL dropped this gem and I would love to hear your thoughts. Long story short, he says if you want to compare Black women's femininity to other races then you need to compare our masculinity to other races of men. It's a minute long and then give your $0.02.

It always annoys me just a bit when a company posts a job announcement that says competitive wages or competitive salary but then don't post what the salary is.

From my experience when this occurs the wages usually aren't that competitive.

Why not post at least a range? Then the perspective employee can determine if it's competitive or not.

As for me when I go to an interview I'm interviewing the employer too. I want to know about benefits, wages, work hours, and family life and work balance.

Some people walk in with the I'm a good employee and money doesn't really matter. They are afraid to talk about salary upfront for fear of turning the employer off.

Me if they can't talk salary first then there's no need to proceed. It's not like I'm there to do the job for free or for as low a salary as possible.

If the salary isn't what I want then why even waste time talking about anything else?
