Investing in Stocks and other such risky investments

So I have never invested in anything major, but have always been curious about the inner workings of how stocks work, along with how to invest in them. Has anyone here invested in a stock? Maybe you bought shares in a company or something similar to that.

I wouldn't mind learning myself, because I am always looking for other ways of making money. But I imagine it's also not an easy thing to get into. Does it take a while to learn?

Prefer cold or hot weather?

Which do you prefer, cold or hot weather? I personally prefer more cool/warm. Maybe around 60s-70s. I can't do anything too hot, otherwise I sweat up a storm. I think my limits reach around 80 and up.

On the other hand, I much more prefer colder weather, because I hate to sweat and cooler weather allows me to wear a comfy hoodie and sweatpants.

What's your preference? I like things right about in the middle.

We’ll also look at retooling harmful family narratives around prosperity that uphold the culture of white supremacy. Includes Q and A session.

Just Call me Brother Tekh

I finally found this thread...proof I need to use my glasses when on my laptop...but I'm Brother TekhNiqo I am a truth seeker who loves his people. I can come off as opinionated but I can usually back up what I say and I'm no above being corrected. I'm still learning and studying everyday and I try to speak with conviction while keeping my glass half full. I have a podcast and social media platforms if people are curious about my views or just want to tune in to get some game. I'm currently taking care of my elders while finishing my degree in computer science. I'm from Oakland, CA so I might use some slang that catches people off guard but if you're in CA yourself I'm highly approachable and I love interacting with my Black Family. I Identify as FBA but I have always been a Pan-Africanist. Some people may not understand that but from my understanding FBA is based on lineage and not iedology so FBA is my lineage and PanAfricanist is my ideology so I support reparations for Freedmen and I am against the Pact for the Continuation of Colonization which is now being referred to as The French Colonial Pact (I really hate how the Bakra/Temehu filters information in search engines to control information). I don't expect everyone to agree with me in fact I never want people to just agree with me but rather my facts. I game a little bit when I have the time but it isn't all the time with the exception of sports games, I'd rather hoop irl.

Student Loan forgiveness may not happen after all

I'm sure this is kinda old news, but a while back the loan forgiveness program was temporarily shut down due to republicans and others opposing the idea and brining a lawsuit against it. Now, it's likely that there is no chance for the loan forgiveness program to continue, leaving out many who recently tried to get their loans forgiven. It's still possible this could happen, but it's looking less realistic by the day.

I know the opinions on this subject were kinda mixed last time. I have some student debt yet and I wouldn't mind getting it forgiven. As I'm sure many others do as well. But, it's looking like we're going to go back to our payment plans.
