Any body that is a graphic designer, illustrator etc. and you want to get into the tech field as a UI/UX designer? There ain’t many of us in the field and there are a lot of jobs open that pay well.

I went from print to UX years ago and it’s a pretty easy transition. You already got all the core design principles like color, critical thinking etc. You just have to use those skills for designing for screens. I helped a few graphic design friends move over with info of what to do.

Amazon is raising its hourly wages for its warehouse and delivery workers, the company announced Wednesday.

Beginning in October, Amazon’s average starting pay for front-line employees in the U.S. will be bumped up to more than $19 per hour from $18 per hour, the company said.

Warehouse and delivery workers will earn between $16 and $26 per hour depending on their position, Amazon added. Amazon’s minimum wage for employees in the U.S. remains $15 an hour.

Amazon is spending roughly $1 billion on the pay hikes over the next year as it looks to attract and retain employees in a historically tight labor market. It’s also preparing to enter what’s known as “peak” season, the especially busy shopping period tied to the holidays.

Tensions have been growing between Amazon and its front-line workforce, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. Employees have called for wage increases, more paid time off and adjustments to productivity expectations.

Workers at several Amazon facilities have taken steps to organize, and earlier this year, workers at Amazon’s warehouse in Staten Island, New York, successfully voted to form the company’s first U.S. union. Amazon faces another union election at a site near Albany, New York, next month.

The company said earlier this month it planned to raise pay and benefits for drivers employed by members of its contracted delivery network, which handles a growing share of its last-mile deliveries to customers doorsteps.

Alongside the pay increase, Amazon said it’s also expanding a payday advance program for its employees that allows them to access up to 70% of their eligible earned pay whenever they choose and without fees, not just on a schedule, such as a biweekly basis.

Not tryna coon or anything (spare me! lol). I just thought we could engage in a little… study— of some of the admirable traits of white people. The idea being that studying this, will help us to grow, in our own good traits. I’ll go first—

Figured it would happen. Biden is now taking the option for student loan forgiveness away from those who received a perkins loan and the Federal Family Education Loans (FFEL). It is said that only 770,000 people will not qualify. And that there was well over 4 million people who either had a perkins or FFEL loan.

The reason this change happened, was because 6 republican led states put lawsuits against it. Some dumb reason about banks not getting their interest from the loans.


I think I had a perkins loan, shit lol.

Last night, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa went down with a concussion. It was so bad it looked to have knocked him out. You can also see his hands stiffen up after the hit. But it was just days after he went down when they faced the Buffalo Bills. Tua went out of that Sunday game with a head injury, but came back to finish the game. He supposedly looked like he was checking his head and stumbled after the hit.

Now the NFL is getting some hate for the way they handled things, especially team doctors, who allowed him to re-enter the game on Sunday and for allowing him to play again this Thursday.

Do you think the doctors involved will face some trouble?

There is no other group of people that has the global cultural influence of black American culture. If there is, I'd like to know. More people under 25 listen to, imitate and admire black Americans, black American music, slang, etc, than any other group. Every continent. No exceptions. I've seen it personally.

There is so much 'soft' power for influence we don't realize. You know who realizes? White America does and that's why they study black Americans more than anything else. There are literally very quiet, undercover departments of major consumer and media companies that do nothing but study black America.

It's why if changes are going to happen for blacks globally, it has to be in America. No other area has the numbers of people who will put in the work to get as much done. The UK has some, but not enough. South Africans are dealing with their own but will be receptive. I think after American blacks get theirs, the UK and South Africa are what I guess will be the next place to kick off. The surprising thing is you don't see it as much in Canada despite being closest culturally to America than any other place.

Since I've moved to 6Zeros, I've felt less of a need to go on social media such as Twitter and Instagram. The only reason I access social media is for sharing tweets or liking pics on Instagram, there's not much of a point in it, it seems. I just don't see the point, we're gonna get banned off these platforms eventually and coming back for more is only going to make these white platforms bigger and more powerful. Why not support Black constructive, platforms like 6ZEROS instead? I don't know, that's just my opinion. What do you think?

If the USA allows them to join it's going to kick off WW3. The NATO nations are going to attack Russia and I believe that China would then hop in with an alliance of nations and defend Russia. It would be suicide for China to allow Russia to be taken over by NATO. I hope the USA does not allow them to join but we know this country has a blood lust so it'll probably happen.
