Guys how did you let a woman down in the past when she was catching feelings? Did you ghost or were straight-forward? Ladies, how have you let down guys in the past that wanted to go beyond FWB?

I was inspired to ask while browsing Reddit, I know don't judge and I came across this post:

My [M25] FWB/friend with benefits [F23] has recently confessed that she is in love with me. She spoke in such a way that she could still have plausible deniability.

In other words she didn't expressly say that it is me but that there is another guy that she met "number-of-months" ago on "dating site" and that they're just friends but she has fallen in love with him.. she descriped this other man to me and I am 99% sure it is me. Unless there's another man she met around the same time as me on the same website that also happens to have the same physical features and hobbies and interests as me..unlikely.

Anyways..here comes my problem:
1) I really don't want to hurt her. I have gotten to a point where I do care about her but in the platonic sense.
2) I don't see myself dating her.

How do I let her down gently?

I‘ve been in this situation and I had to let him go. He started to get jealous and put expectations on me I was never going to meet. Guys how do you let a woman down when she is catching feelings? I was at work today and I noticed that there was this white customer who gave their one single shopping bag to another white person. (I know that may seem like something small but that's a detail, that we can't even seem to manage due to our own mental colonisation.) We need code like that and to an even further extent. How have you noticed the ways in which white people get on code with one another? We need to get on code on a level much further than our enemy.

Apparently, there is a unit of CCP-funded police operating in NYC and our government is just allowing it. They are doing it in a few places in Canada as well. I can't remember the locations. They are keeping track of Chinese immigrants, for whatever reason. The fact that we are allowing it to happen in the US is beyond me. Doesn't that violate some kind of human rights gained when you become a citizen? Doesn't this breach some sort of national security!?

Brought into sharper focus following an incident I had at work. When going for a promotion, the phrase used that I "like to solve problems on my own" was used. The promotion was denied. I've figured out this phrase means "too independent/independent minded" and may potentially be difficult to control. What other code words or terms has everyone experienced, and what new ones are people finding?

I just now learned that Haiti has been invaded by D.R. soldiers, which actually took me by surprise. 1 thing that helps to solve a Missing Persons case is keeping the story and narrative in public & therefore in the minds quite possibly in the of the unknowing witness(es) that may have “seen or heard” something.
