A survey shows that 49% of Android users are considering switching to Apple’s iPhone due to “perceived superiority” in security and privacy. In addition, consumers reported feeling more secure using the iPhone 13 Pro Max instead of Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra.




The survey by Beyond Identity, which interviewed 1,003 Americans regarding mobile phone security habits and sentiments, shows that 76% of Apple users feel more secure with iOS. In contrast, 74% of Android users have the same perception.

According to the users of each type of smartphone, the iPhone 13 Pro Max felt remarkably safer than the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. In fact, iPhone 13 users were more than twice as likely to say that theirs was the most secure smartphone they had ever used.

Key findings of the study also show how cloud services impact Apple and Android users:

• 20% of iCloud Keychain users feel extremely secure, while only 13% of Google Password Manager users feel the same;
• 27% of Apple users feel extremely secure using iCloud while 22% of Google Drive users feel the same.

Anyone with sense could see this coming.

I think it's time we impose an age limit in politics, where you can't be some old white dude who can stick around in congress or the senate until the day you die. Instead, we should have politicians retire at a certain age, instead of allowing some old white people running things anymore. Let the younger people have a say, because things will never change when we have 90 year old white men and women who don't fight for any of us.

I don't even know how half of them are able to handle their jobs anymore. I think it would be wise to impose an age limit, maybe 70 years old max, or 65 idk. I'm just tired of seeing all of these old people, who are stuck in the past, trying to dictate what our futures should be, when they can barely walk or speak.

Time to get the old white folks out and time to get politics infused with more young blood.

Have you ever had white friends who hung out with you because you are black? As in the only reason they hung out with you, is because you're black. I had a couple friends who weren't really my friends I guess. They were these kids I hung out with a lot during high school, we'd hang out for a while after lunch each day, and I thought they were cool. We'd smoke behind the school, talk about the girls we liked and all that, what typical friends do. As we all got older, we started to hang out less and less with each other. To the point where we completely stopped hanging out. I didn't think anything of it for a while, but then I saw one of them at a party and he completely ignored me, like we never knew each other.

Each time I said what's up to him, he'd walk away and act like I didn't say anything. I thought, maybe he was busy wanting to chat up some of the girls there, but I saw him later hanging out with a group of white dudes, the ones that look like they'd be hunters or were into stuff like Duck Dynasty haha, but it really pissed me off at the time. At that point, I realized this dude was not my friend anymore and I peaced out.

I never understood why someone like Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos could draw billions of dollars working as CEOs or higher ups in a major company. You'd think they would share the money a bit with the other employees and those working in the warehouses and all that. I just don't think that someone like Jeff Bezos should have been making hundreds of millions a year.

I get why they get paid a lot, but sometimes they are paid way too damn high. Like with Elon Musk, why does he make so much money? Just to think, if he took a pay cut, they could increase the pay for the people working at his company, and he'd still probably be paid a ton.

I don't think a single person should ever be paid $1 billion or more. Maybe a few millions dollars or maybe up to $10-$20 mill. But it seems like so many CEOs make tons of money, when they could instead use some of that to give their hard working employees a much needed raise.

Idk, I'm rambling at this point, but what do you guys think? Do you think CEOs and others higher ups should be paid a lot less?

I don't remember this, but I hear that Dr. Dre suffered an aneurysm last year, around January of last year, and had to be hospitalized. Doctors allowed his family to come in, even with covid restrictions, because they thought he was going die. But, he recovered and was able to make the Super Bowl halftime show. He did have high blood pressure, which he thinks was the main cause. Which reminds me, I have high blood pressure myself that I need to rain in, I don't want to end up dealing with any issues stemming from it.

I'm glad he made a full recovery, because I don't think it's Dre's time to die just yet. He's got a lot of life left in him I think.

So someone in my family was on Facebook or Meta.. whatever tf it is, saying how bad Biden is doing. Pointing out how bad the economy is, how bad the cities have become, and how life in America as a black person, especially a black man, has been made worse because of the crap he is doing. The “$70,000 CEO” Dan Price’s abrupt resignation from the helm of Gravity Payments this week came as he faced a new allegation of purportedly raping a woman, according to a bombshell report.

Price, who made international headlines after he slashed his own pay to $70,000 while raising minimum wage at the company, resigned as CEO this week amid reports that he had grabbed a 26-year-old woman by the throat after she rejected his advances.

But Price’s resignation came shortly after he was contacted for a response to a rape allegation, according to a report late Thursday.

Police in Palm Springs, California, have recommended that Price face a charge of rape of a drugged victim. The executive has not yet been charged in connection to the alleged incident.

Kacie Margis, a model and artist, told the New York Times she and Price were dating for about three months when the alleged rape occurred during a trip to Palm Springs. Price allegedly booted Margis out of their hotel room for hours so that he could take a phone call, despite the fact that she was only wearing a bikini and a cover-up.

Dude was accused of rape, drugging women, and God only knows what else.

This is a self-proclaimed male feminist who was getting praised for upping everyone's salary in the company to 70k per year while lowering his to 70k. What people don't realize is that he was getting even MORE money doing this because profits are taxed way less than salary so him going from 900k a year down to 70k a year was a selfish act in and of itself.

I am not surprised he was out there using his CEO position to prey on women. He just looks like the type to do it.

A substantive part of this nation's foundation is built on demagoguing and this trait enabled it to evolve into the tyrannical overlord it is today. It doesn't even respect its own so called constitution.

They should just stop abusing the word 'democracy' because everyone sees them for exactly what they are and have done for some time.

I've been starting to build a vinyl collection of music instead of buying CDs or even digital these days. I think record players put out the best overall sound, it catches everything and really sounds better imo. CDs are fine, but they degrade faster because of disc rot, which is one thing to consider. Digital music is fine, but I think the sound of a record far exceeds what most other options out there.

I think cassettes sound decent as well. And they're easier to store and collect than vinyl, but vinyl still wins out for me. What about you? What do you prefer?

Have you guys heard of Andrew Tate? I believe he's a retired boxer who now takes up political commentary. He's been blowing up because of his takes on tiktok about women. He's one of those guys who says dumb shit like "Women can't drive, I won't get in a car with them." Or, "Women bear responsibility for sexual assault". He's also said other things about how women are lazy and that he should be able to have authority over a women he's dating. Dumb things like that.

He was also investigated for human trafficking/sex trafficking I believe. I don't know what came of that, but I heard rumors that he ran a cam house for cam girls, which is probably what that was.

He has since been banned on TikTok and Meta (facebook).
