Nearly half of President Biden’s 22.2 million Twitter followers are bogus, a new audit revealed.

The audit, which was done for the social media giant by software firm SparkToro, found that 49.3% of the president’s followers are “fake followers,” according to Newsweek.

SparkToro has defined “fake followers” as “accounts that are unreachable and will not see the account’s tweets (either because they’re spam, bots, propaganda, etc. or because they’re no longer active on Twitter).”

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is attempting to buy Twitter, has expressed concern over the growing number of fake accounts and proposed a potential crackdown on the sham accounts.

Bots are a huge issue on the platform though. I remember reading about some Chinese group inciting crap between people in the US, using race-baiting and other tactics and it works. People get made a damn fool on Twitter. At this point, I don't understand why anyone would want to be a part of that platform.

If you had to leave the US because the government reinstated slavery, what African country would you seek asylum? And why? I would go to South Africa.

There are ballots going out now for the upcoming governor's election in California. I'm soliciting information for any grassroots vetted candidates that I can place my vote for, and/or add their names on the ballot. I am fine with people being gay or whatever, do your thing but every June I just grow more and more tired. Why do the alphabet people get an ENTIRE MONTH dedicated to them? We have to sit here and watch corporations and brands pander to them by changing their logos to rainbows and peddling out gay-positive commercials. Everywhere I look there is a rainbow and everything becomes homophobic overnight because people don't wanna deal with it or participate in it. If a company doesn't throw up a rainbow, they are automatically deemed homophobic like these people are in some sort of cult or something.

I still think it is funny that brands and companies won't sport the rainbow on Twitter when their account is in the middle east. Like that is where gay folks actually need support and still have to fight for their rights. Goes to show this isn't about supporting the LGBTXYZ, it is about money and profits.

Just wanted to rant a bit. Just sick of seeing people get their celebrations, their time to shine, their handouts, and their appreciation while black folks are left at the bottom of the pile. Only once every 4 years we seem to matter. Ya'll know when that is.

I don't understand this choice. The magazine, to me, should be featuring athletes, not senior citizens. She clearly takes care of herself and good for her but no one needed to see this. No one asked for this. It just seems weird. Why are we putting old people in bathing suits and on covers now? I mean seriously, wtf is this? It would be one thing if it was a magazine designed for women or older people but it is a sports magazine. WTF this old lady have to do with sports!?
