When I see black owned products , I usually try and make it a point to but something from the company,even if it's something I don't need. My biggest issue with a lot of black owned shops and their products is they are almost always subpar (not up to quality) if it's not the presentation and packaging, it's the product itself.
I saw on Twitter a new brand of deodorant called "Fresh Pitz", black owned so I had to try it. They had 3 types, one for men, one for women and one for kids. No alcohol, no aluminum or baking soda in it. Sounds good! So I order one for men and I just received it. It smells good, the packaging was blah, arrived in an envelope, no box just the deodorant in an envelope. You can tell these are generic deodorant sticks with stickers of the company on them.
I understand if you're just getting started, but first impressions are everything! You have to spend money to make money. My suggestion would be to get a designer and have them print your company logo and information on the deodorant holders.
Stickers make it look cheap,or at least get the quality ones that wrap around most of the holder.
I'm always looking to support our people, but come on, you have to put out quality work to stay successful.

Cult leader 'Carbon Nation' arrested for alleged rape of woman and for sending sexually explicit photos of her to his followers claiming the pictures were 'sexual education'​

• Eligio Bishop, 40, who often refers to himself as '3God' and 'Nature Boy' of the cult 'Carbon Nation,' was arrested on April 14, officials said
• An investigation was launched by the 'special victims unit' after they received a complaint concerning Bishop on March 30, a police spokesperson said
• The self-professed cult leader, who 'believes in nudism, polygamy, and refraining from bathing' was a former model, stripper and sex worker
• He allegedly forced followers to surrender their money, credit cards and bank account information in order to join his cult, sources said
• His other identities include: 'The Messiah Demigod' and 'Master Chief' on his Facebook account
• Bishop is currently being held at DeKalb County jail. He was denied bail during a Friday court appearance, due, in part due to his alleged crimes

The alleged rape and false imprisonment occurred on March 24, according to DeKalb County jail records. Three days later, Bishop allegedly sent explicit pictures in messages without the subject’s consent, the Daily Beast reported.

Carbon Nation member, Daylin Armstead told Fox5Atlanta: 'We teach sexual education and we believe in nudity. And so that’s one of the charges that’s trying to be brought against my chief that’s for revenge porn, but the female that was here, the woman that was here, she gave consent to actually release it for sexual education, it’s not just like porn, it’s for educational purposes.

It is not clear if Bishop has retained legal counsel.

This is the only thing I could think in everyday life is relatable to the vote blue no matter who crowd.

You get a really good job with good benefits and you work there for several years building up towards retirement.

Someone down the street That happens to work in the same field loses their job. They are going to lose their house.

They tell you I need you to quit your job because then they'll be an opening and I can apply and get hired and won't lose my house.

Right now with abortion being overturned I could care less That's not going to make me go vote. Because as a black person it doesn't affect me one way or the other. So what If some white liberals lose their right to get an abortion. It's not going to make me go against my own interest.

But the vote blue no matter who crowd is losing their mind about this. They feel like it's the end of the world and they have to go out and vote.

In the scenario I gave above the vote blue no matter who corral would quit their job and potentially lose everything just so that someone that they don't even know could benefit.

I've noticed that Facebook seems to take steps to actively not push anything that promotes black empowerment.
Has anyone else noticed that Facebook shadow bans, blocks out, or doesn't show posts if you begin to speak black empowerment?

Emphasis on this being a licensed therapist

When I first joined this site, I wanted to advocate for trying to educate the black civil rights generation and get them on code.
As time progressed I can now see that this is a group of people that is beyond being educated. They are staunchly vote blue no matter who and back the Democrat party blindly regardless of how much information you give them.

I stand corrected on thinking that these people were ever able to be bought on code.

We know as #FBA that a debt is owed because of the enslavement of our ancestors, and for the blatant violation of our civil and human rights.
I hate hearing when people say "I didn't enslave your people" or "you were never a slave" the "playing" dumb answers and questions from non-Black people is irritating AF, they know it's a debt owed to our ancestors.

What's the difference if a white boy or girl inherits their family's wealth even though they didn't actually do the work to build the wealth? some of these people never worked a day in their life, but get to enjoy the wealth the family built. so, why is it a problem that we want to collect our family's wealth that's owed to them, that, in a sense is our inheritance, right?
