Know anyone who keeps going back to the same person?

A lot of my friends and family have had some odd relationships. Some that clearly don't work. One of my cousins for example, has been married 4 times. He married his current wife, twice already. They divorced back in 2008, and went separate ways. He married some other woman in 2012, but it lasted a few months and they divorced fast, and then he got back with his other ex and they married soon after in 2014, but they ended up divorcing again not too long after. These two are now together again a third time, but haven't talked about getting married yet.

This relationship has always been problematic. These two probably should not be together, but no matter what, they always seem to be back in each others lives. They argue, hit each other, are verbally abusive to one another and seem like complete opposites. I don't get it.

Anyway, has this ever happened to anyone you know, in your family your friends maybe? Or maybe even in your life?

Have you ever been stood up?

I got stood up years ago. We had planned a date, and he was supposed to be my partner on a project. Not only did he stand me up, but he ended up doing something else and left me stranded on the project. I had to scramble to find a new partner and it ended up being a mess lol I never talked to him again, and to be honest, I'm still kind of mad about it hahaha But anyway, have you ever been stood up? Did you give them a second chance or did you move on?

What did you dress up as for Halloween growing up?

When you were growing up, assuming you went trick or treating, what were some of the things you dressed up as?

My mom did a lot of my costumes when I was a small child which I am thankful for now more than I was back then. She would ask me what I would want to be and she would make me something. I will tell you that I went as a cat more than once. I think I went as a cat at least 4 times! Not always the same cat though. A few were black cats, another time I was a lion, and another time a leopard. I was obsessed with cats growing up, still kind of am as an adult. Love any kind of leopard or tiger print stuff. I also went as a witch a few times and even did the whole Scream thing too. That was an easy costume though. Just had to put on a black cloak and wear a mask.

Dealing with anxiety and the past

I am trying to learn to be more forgiving toward myself . I want to let things go and grow into a better well adjusted person and I want to apologize to the world and everyone I have hurt in the past . I was completely misguided and I wasn't thinking clearly . I feel as though I am misunderstood and my intentions are taken out of context and I want to set the record straight . I dont hate anyone im not trying to bother anyone it feels good for me some times to express myself and talk things out . I want do the right things for myself and the ones I care about most . I just want to find a community that accepts me for my quirks and interests . I feel as though I got mislabeled and I understand what the power of words have . I am not a kid anymore and being clear direct with my words and actions are probably the best course of action for me . I am no revolutionary I am not trying to undermine anyone I am not a government agent I just want the best for myself . I hope this little spiel makes sense .

What's the real problem with forgiveness?

It's the fact that we don't really know what it is so we misuse it, perpetuating the problem. Laquan McDonald's Great Uncle is in the news, misusing forgiveness and so perpetuating the suffering of many more. It is not our job to forgive anyone, but to forgive our own perceptions. Forgiveness is part of a self healing process that has nothing to do with anybody else.

To use forgiveness in a way that makes others believe YOU even hold the power to forgive another simply ensures no one is healed. When we misuse forgiveness in this way, we are not only doing ourselves a disservice, we cut the legs out from under everyone involved, the community AND white people.

But I forgive my thoughts that cause me to get angry at him for doing this. He is right, Rahm Emanuel is a victim of the system, BUT SO WAS HIS NEPHEW!

He says he wants justice but it is not just to perpetuate the very system that isn't giving you justice by rewarding individuals who perpetuate the system. His words grouped with his actions, don't make logical sense. He's saying one thing but doing the EXACT OPPOSITE!

I forgive my perception of him because I know he is intoxicated by his own ego. He does not know how deeply he is undermining himself. He is so in love with the IDENTITY of being the "holy man", the "bigger man" in front of everyone that he is stabbing himself and everybody else in the back!

Are you competitive when it comes to gaming?

There are times where I am very competitive when it comes to gaming. I like to think I'm a beast when it comes to fighting games. Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, you name it I play it. I also consider myself pretty decent at the Smash Bros series as well.

Anyway, are there any games you're really competitive at? If so, what are they?
