I wonder have any of you all heard of this case? It's kinda wild, but the most disturbing thing is that one of the victims was a Black girl. Apparently this girl changed her mind the day of the trip and didn't want to go and her mother talked her into giving it a try. This is Oklahoma in the 70's and this Black mother thought it wise to send her Black child to be the only Black kid on a scouting trip in the middle of nowhere. Even had this not happened the first night, there is no telling what those other white girls would put her through. Apparently, the girl's mother said she could call home and she would get picked up, but the camp director wouldn't let her call home. It could be conjecture but knowing how they treat our kids, would it surprise anyone? I'm still bugging on this. Oklahoma is an openly racist place even to this day. I just can't imagine what this poor girl's mother was thinking...also of note: the deceased girl's father may or may not have been a Tulsa police officer...which would possibly answer the level of delusion her parents were under. Messed up tho...

Shaka is said to have introduced new military tactics that transformed the Zulu military. He replaced the long spear with a broad stabbing blade called the assagai. He replaced the narrow shield with a broader cowhide shield. He also introduced the buffalo military formation. The formation was shaped like the horn of a buffalo - the tip of the horn was occupied by fast young soldiers, and the centre area was occupied by experienced hardy soldiers. The ends of the horn would encircle the enemy and the central core of hardened soldiers would move forward into the fight. Indunas who were outside the formation directed the fighting via hand signals.

I am dark skinned (proudly) and I was surprised to see Saudi Arabians darker than me when I was there. I knew they were descended from slaves. What I came to learn later was that they were treated like shyt a lot and when there is some sort of argument, traffic accident, whatever, the Arabs will call them the arabic word for slave. There are also black Emeratis (UAE, Oman, et) all of the middle east as well.

I have a friend, and I love her to death but she has got a problem with not letting things go. She keeps her place clean but she has so much stuff that it never looks tidy. Like shelves stacked up with stuff. Containers filled with things. I just can't with it. Every time I go there it makes me go home and clean. I like to keep things fresh and free-flowing. Like on my desk for example, I just have my keyboard, mouse, monitor shelf, monitor, PC, and a little cup to hold pens. That is it. I keep my planner on the monitor shelf. Everything else in my office space is tucked away and organized in those plastic drawers.
