Providence, R.I. Trying To Do A Reparations" Bait And Switch.

Renaming something that you wouldn't give other groups as reparations....doesn't make it reparations.
Consider Evanston, Illinois with it's cheap substitute housing grant, this is a $$$ windfall for previously
discriminating banks and is not a restitution payment but a generator of further financial debt.

This addresses the peripheral needs IF actual reparations were being paid.
But no mention of direct financial restitution.
Did they ask the Japanese to jump through hoops for Internment camp $$?
Or recently Guam paid from a "long time ago" (WWII) without a long, drawn out, walking in circles "study".

Elizabeth Holmes, Sentenced to 11 Years!

Amazing news! She should have got 20 but I’ll take 11.

Callisto Protocol

Is anyone here planning on getting this game? I was going to pre-order it, but decided not to. I'm going to wait until reviews come out for it. It's an upcoming survival horror game from Striking Distance Studios and published by Krafton. It reminds me a lot of the Dead Space series. Plus, who doesn't want more horror games in space?

Do you like to collect things from your childhood?

I grew up in the 90s and had a lot of action figures growing up. I remember having the Batman figures, Spider-Man and so on. Even had those street sharks figures. The 90s man!

I have started to buy things that I owned in my childhood. For example, I picked up an old Batman figure in box from the animated series. The show was a favorite of mine and I remember having the same toy when I was a kid. Brought me back to the day I got it originally, and how I had it out of the box as soon as we got into the car.

But I've decided I want to start a small collection of figures I had growing up, and maybe some figures I never had the chance to own. I would just be hanging these up in my man cave anyway. And if I ever have kids, they can have them when I croak.

Do you like to collect things from your childhood such as action figures, old movies, comic books, etc?

Ongoing Anti-Black Racist Spin

The same people ignoring, even downplaying the harm of white supremacist terrorist organizations are actively trying to weave a false "you're just as bad" narrative.

I've said it before but this is why they specify that during WWII the (white) Germans invaded the (white) French, same with the conflict between Ireland and England and more recently, Russia and Ukraine. And yet Black with all its diversity and complexity of language, tradition, and unique accomplishments is treated as a single generic unit (translation: they are saying we don't want you to matter). Domestically and globally, white on white crime and racially motivated terrorism eclipses the deeds of non whites but especially of Black Americans descendants of chattel slavery who are demonized for:

self defense (Kenneth Walker put on trial after being traumatized trying to defend the home of Breonna Taylor who was ambushed and murdered in her own home),

demonized for protesting their murder with "I can't breathe" (George Floyd and sadly many others),

for walking in their own neighborhood and trying to avoid a desperately focused racist stalker (Trayvon Martin killed and later they tried to dig up things in his past that had nothing to do with George Zimmerman's obsessive goal of killing him similar to Ahmaud Arbery's situation) and so much more that I'm not even gonna keep going.

My point is, we need to keep pushing and demanding our dues (not asking which comes off as being gulible and begging for something that you were entitled to from the beginning) because....

you can't expect evil to declare itself evil and hold itself accountable.....

when there is no perceived upside for those who benefit from evil.

San Fran to hand out $1,200 to trans people just cause

I don't know if you all heard but San Fran signed off on handing out $1,200 to each trans person in the area for up to 18 months. They are getting this money cause they are facing some sort of discrimination... you know, in the most gay/trans-friendly place in America!... WHAT BULLSH*T! These people are getting on my damn nerves already. Black people been struggling and never got given what they were promised and now trans people just roll up like "someone misgendered me!" and we just gonna hand them $1,200!?

I am just over this. I know not all trans people are like this but these are the ones they prop up to pass this BS and they can kick rocks.

Real Bad Boys Move in Silence

I've noticed that the blacks with a lot of power and money try to stay out of the limelight. Some have come out of the shadows but they did what other blacks can't seem to stop doing and that is 'being on front street.'

J Prince stays behind the scenes and people can speculate or whatever but he got way more money and way more power than what people think. People try to say all kinds of things on him. White folks try to label him as a some sort of black mafia type persona.

How J. Prince Became The Most Feared Man In Hip Hop Industry

Robert K Smith
This guy flew under the radar. I have a finance background and heard of him early on. Smart AF. Extremely smart guy intellectually. I've read interviews of his former colleagues saying it was no surprise he'd branch out and mega successful. When you are a black man on Wall Street and white boys see your intellect right away and you have position, I guarantee you, that Black person is smarter than those around him, and above him. They will always, always, always take a white boy over you if you are basically the same or offer the same. You have to be visibly better for them to f*ck with you. I have a few stories.

Anyway, he quietly became the richest black person in America and then he did it quietly. He didn't do interviews or anything. Then he became more public. Which I think was the worse thing he could have done. My guess? His white wife. He married a former playboy playmate and my guess is she encouraged him to get out more, in part to give herself some clout. That's my supposition. He's known to be a bit awkward socially. He's a numbers guy, loves numbers, cerebral ish. More comfortable crunching numbers and analyzing businesses than giving speeches. When he started being on front street more and got a bit more power because of it, and started giving to black causes, all of a sudden the IRS started looking at him. Never happened before and he was always known as a straight shooter. They were sending a message in my opinion, to get your money but don't try any social engineering with your money by helping blacks.

Advice from Robert Smith Forbes' second-wealthiest African-American

Al Haymon

Floyd Mayweather's silent partner. Tariq mentions him sometimes. He controlled boxing for a while to the point where Bob Arum and the top promoters were publicly talking about him in a bad way. That's power. He stays behind the scenes and moves quiet AF. I love the way this brother moves. He doesn't like interviewing. He doesn't want clout. He doesn't want publicity.

I would love to find some sisters like that on the low. Maybe there are and I'd love some suggestions on here. The closest is possible Mellody Hobson, wife of film maker George Lucas.

Reparations backlash...

I just had a thought about the reparations movement and what should happen if it were to become successful. There's a trend that after every major black movement in this nation, there also ends up being a huge backlash to said movement. What do you think the backlash to reparations would be, and how could we prepare for it in advance?

Do you enjoy Karaoke?

Does anyone here like to do karaoke when they go out? Maybe to a local bar, club, or maybe just when you are hanging out with friends and family.

I've done some karaoke when out with friends, but it's something I don't usually go for. We had a lot of fun, sung some really awful songs, and got our drink on. The usual.

I did some home karaoke with the likes of Def Jam Rapstar back when I had a 360. That was fun.
