Blacks Losing Jobs For Being Pro Palestinian

Brihana Joy Gray is the latest. She co hosted a program called 'Breaking Points' on The Hill. She is the latest to get fired related to pro Palestinian. She got fired for an 'eye roll'...yeah, eye roll. Which was just an excuse.
Others like Marc Lamont Hill, Blacks are over represented on the pro Palestinian marches on some campuses. A sista at Ole Miss got monkey chants at a pro Palestinian protest.

I feel for these brothers and sisters. Even if I don't agree with some like Marc Lamont Hill on the strategy for black justice in America and globally.

That being said, personally, if I'm going to lose my job its going to be over fighting for Black people. I feel greatly for the Gazans. Those pictures and videos of the atrocities leveled against them are heart breaking. You can not be. I got them in spirit, but I'm not marching on a college campus for them either. I will protest in on public ways. I may vote for a pro Palestinian candidate over a Republican for example. I may even donate....maybe to a specific cause like some aid organization. Those are private ways.

If I'm a journalist, I wouldn't say I would be completely quiet but I've seen the sister's programs and she goes in. On a side note, I like her a lot. Smart sista, Harvard grad, got a good energy about her. She worked for Bernie Sanders campaign at one time. Yeah, RCNAL kinda feeling her....sh is eloquent, strong, smart, beautiful sister. Seriously though, but I wouldn't be losing my job over the issue. if it was for an anti Black crime bill, reparations for my FBA peeps, keeping colonialists and Chinese out of Africa for my African peeps etc. then at least its for Blacks as a collective.

Not blaming her, not criticizing her, as well as the others per se. Because of our collective history of slavery or colonialization depending on your own history, we hate seeing injustice done to anyone, since have had it historically and are presently experiencing it. So, some of us ride for Ukraine openly, for Gazans openly and other oppressed peoples. I get it. I just am focused on me and mine as a priority.

Killer Mike Tells Bill Maher He's Choosing Policies Over People.

Its a nice slogan, I love that he said what's good for Black people. We are the only people in America who get shamed for wanting our own community to do well. White folks intrinsically see what's good for Black folks is anti White. or they want to be higher than White. It's their immediate reaction.

I think Killer Mike should have been a wee bit more specific (anti black crime bill, reparations for FBA, etc) but overall, he said some good things. Didn't like the n word being dropped but that's just me. Unless you are a comedian or rapper.

The Gay Agenda Is Real

Normally I don't have a problem with any group trying to get more of its own into Congress and any office as long as they aren't anti Black.

This group though have already demonstrated a clear agenda to target straight Black men specifically and also our boys in school.

I guarantee you the Congressional Black Caucus are on board.

D.C. Teacher Partners With Legendary Backyard Band For A New Go-Go Rendition Of The ABCs

Kendall Maloney, a teacher at Bunker Hill Elementary School in Northeast Washington, D.C., is known for her innovative teaching methods. She consistently finds ways to engage her students in Black history and their academic curriculum, rallying the community to bolster her efforts

Now Ms. Maloney is back, this time with a new song featuring the District’s legendary go-go band, Backyard. Inspired by a previous deck of cards she made highlighting historical Black history facts in D.C., Maloney enrolled her students and the Backyard Band in the creation of a go-go rendition of the ABCs.

“It all started from last year when I did my 72 deck of cards on everything Black facts in D.C. I decided that I wanted to create an extension from this project, and I wanted to go on and make a song with Backyard Band,” Maloney told Fox 5 DC.

The esteemed educator revealed that 26 of her students played a pivotal role, contributing to the creation of the card deck that featured information about significant people, places, and facts in D.C. These students then selected 26 of those cards, which formed the foundation of the new ABC song. They lent their voices to the catchy hook crafted by band member Weensy, with Anwan Glover (The Wire), also known as Big G, leading the rap verse.

What Will Trump's Sentence Be?

Him being convicted was a given. It was open and shut. There has a fair amount of Mayors, several Congressmen and every blue moon or so, maybe once a generation a Senator go to jail.

When you get to Senator, senior administration level (Secretary of Treasury, etc) its rare. It has to be so bad and egregious there is no choice.

An ex President and possibly soon to be President? Uncharted territory.

The question is what will be the sentence? We've seen actual rapists be convicted and no time served.

I am guessing he won't do any actual time. It's state court so its a bit murky. My guess, the NY governor will either pardon or work some backroom deal.

House arrest maybe. As far as I know there aren't any low security prisons for NY state as there is in the federal prison system. Also, the blowback. Republicans will openly skirt the constitution for payback.

I obviously hope he goes to jail but don't think he actually will do any jail time. The sentence may be financial and no hard time. That's my guess. They'll try to bankrupt him instead.
