Since his murder, Dr. King's image has been repackage & repainted, and he has been turned into the jolly southern preacher who did nothing but dream about living next door to white folks.
In truth, Dr. King was a revolutionary. He was a powerful man who galvanized and inspired people of all ethnicities to fight for the rights of Black people and poor people.
Dr. King was a force; he scared the powers that be. He was a threat to the system, and the system feared him! Nobody has come closer to damaging the infrastructure of American systematic racism than Dr. King.
Dr. King fought for US, and he ultimately gave his life for US.
As a birthday favor to me, please join me in celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I have read about and watched videos about way more gas station shootings than normal. My advice to people is to be ready at all times when you are getting gas. And be there for the least amount of time possible while keeping your eyes on your surroundings. Get off your phone unless you're paying from your app or something. There are way too many innocent people killed by bullets as a person is trying to shoot somebody else. Plus, there is the realization of mistaken identity as well.

I will say winter is my least favorite season out of the four (sick of the cold) with summer being my most favorite, then fall, then spring (sick of the allergies).

I ask this question because many towns are doing something for MLK Day. I don't know what will happen this year since there is winter weather in a large portion of the country.

What is a strategy you use to navigate wintry weather roads?

I am posting this to say that I remember when Kilpatrick was in office while I was a child. I had high hopes of him to make some real progress in overall turning Detroit around. I saw entirely too much grimy stuff from him like going to restaurants and not paying saying that he was the mayor and should not have to pay. It definitely appeared that he was all about having power and clout while not being the leader he should have been. If this allegation is true regarding the murdered stripper, I would not be surprised.
