For the religious Brothers and Sisters out there, do you think that Superhero movies as well as comics have us worshipping fictional characters over God as well as mortalising and somewhat parodying Him? Also, do you think that by accepting the concept of fictional characters obtaining superpowers that we are downplaying The Creator as a whole?

Aside from those of us who live in those nice warm locations, like myself, is anyone here dealing with a blizzard or snow storm? I heard the majority of the US was going to deal with really cold temps this Christmas weekend along with a ton of snow. Are you living in an area where there is blizzard like conditions happening? Have you ever been through a blizzard before?

I lived in Michigan for a few years growing up, and I remember we had a decent blizzard up there that brought a foot or two of snow in one night. I don't miss it one bit, but it was still cool to experience once in your life. It's weird, it's kinda calming and yet chaotic at the same time. I certainly don't miss having to shovel all the time though.

Anyway, for those who are dealing with snow this holiday season, I wish you luck, stay safe and happy holidays!

Being a conservative in and of itself is upholding tradition and keeping values intact. It is never specified which traditions or values are being upheld and as time advances, things do change. It is clear that "family first" is the foundation though. I was talking to my brother about this and we both agree that conservatism in and of itself is separate from republican just as liberal is separate from democrat. Both reps and dems are just voting classes who try to cater to one or the other without actually doing anything for either. Conservatives put their family and direct community first and it seems liberals put their family second to the greater good.

I was raised very conservative when I look back on my life. I was raised by a couple who is married, where my father worked and my mother took care of us and the house. She focused on gardening, cooking, housekeeping, and making sure we were learning and growing in appropriate circles. My father was the leader and protector of the household and my mother would always go to him before making any larger decisions. Our family as a whole is very close and tight-knit. We look out for each other and we make sure the community we lived in and myself as well as my brothers grew up in was safe.

I think white people and white supremacy muddied the waters and made being conservative a dirty thing. They made being traditional and having a strong family unit a dirty thing to a lot of people. I think we should reclaim it. After all, our people at one time had a stronger economy, stronger churches, and stronger family units not that long ago.

This past Sunday at the Raiders vs Patriots NFL game, a Black man was harassed by a crazy Raiders fan towards the end. The racist neanderthal can be seen getting up in the man’s personal space while he remains calm and unbothered.

Now imagine if the brotha had fired back, he’d be all over the news painted differently.. Also, I find it so annoying how the media and these white folks period be acting as if they really care. Not saying they don’t, but I mean they should be standing up against anti-Black racism in other ways. Condemning racist behaviors isn’t enough. Giving a Black person free tickets, beer, and prizes will not combat anti-Black individuals either. One by one, these racist caucasians must be exposed. They need to be demonized, vilified, ousted, banned from certain places, and stripped of whichever positions they possess in their careers where Black people are in proximity.
