What kind of BS is this?

Remember when Biden said "We will not raise taxes for anyone earning under $400k per year"?

They signed this anti-inflation act which will tax us more, signed on 87k NEW IRS agents which they need to tax us more to pay, and will be pushing MORE taxes on people earning under $400k per year. WTF!!!

How in the hell is anyone okay with this? How has Biden not been impeached?

Would you date someone 20+ years older/younger than yourself?

Would you date someone who was 20 years or more older than you? If you are 40+, would you date someone in their 20's?

I see a lot of women and men out there doing this and most of the time, I am scratching my head at it. For me, the limit is 10. I will not date someone if they are over 10 years older or 10 years younger than me. As of now though, I wouldn't go more than 5 years younger cause I don't want to be dating someone fresh out of high school!

MAGA candidate tries to run game on The Breakfast Club

Lee Zeldin, Republican candidate for Governor of NY, appeared on the Breakfast Club this morning and talked out of the side of his neck, using all of the usual old rope-a-dope tricks that politicians use on the people.
This is what happens when you're ensconced in privilege and and have no idea of what's happening in the real world.
He has no idea that people are wise to that kind of double talking now.

KEY POINTS

-Dodge will discontinue its gas-powered Challenger and Charger muscle cars at the end of next year, as the brand transitions to electric vehicles.

-Since being resurrected in the mid- to late 2000s, the Charger and Challenger have been stalwarts for Dodge and popular vehicles for a new generation of gearheads.

-But the cars have also been part of a fuel economy and emissions problem for Stellantis, formerly Fiat Chrysler.

Kendrick Lamar Talks to Young Concertgoer, Gives Him Inspiring Letter: 'You Will Forever Be Great'

This is some fun news to share. During a recent concert, Kendrick Lamar noticed a young fan holding a sign that said "My name is Kendrick. This is my 1st concert. Can We Take a Pic.". Kendrick stopped the show and spoke right to the kid, pretty much telling him to follow his dreams as he can do anything, and to also honor and respect his parents.

The video doesn't show it, but Kendrick Lamar also wrote a letter on the back of his sign letting him know he's special.

Worried about Deep Fakes?

I am genuinely afraid of what is capable with Deep Fakes these days. They've become a lot more sophisticated and are becoming even more realistic. Some of them you can tell, because of the uncanny valley (where you can tell the CGI doesn't belong), but there are some out there that are done so good, that it can probably confuse many.

And with new tools out there, and new techniques, it's becoming easier to make these deep fakes look realistic. Just look at the dude who makes the Tom Cruise deep fakes, it almost looks too real.

Are you worried this could result in lies being spread? I'm sure it's already happening.

What a beautiful story! I hope Jimmy and Emilio have an amazing life together!

Will other companies go the Gamepass route?

Microsoft Gamepass is a major hit, and has inspired Sony with their PlayStation now service (I think that's what it's called) to do their own. Do you think other companies like maybe Steam and Epic Games follow this trend? I honestly haven't purchased a new game in a while. I did buy WWE 2K22, but the most recent game I purchased before that, was probably RDR2. Ever since Gamepass came around, I haven't had to bother buying games. I usually get one month of gamepass ultimate, which nets me games on Xbox and PC.

For me, it saves me some money, as I used to buy games often, but now I just get gamepass and I'm mostly good with the games that are on there. If there's another game I really want though, I'll probably buy it.

What do you think? Could we see more services offer up their own gamepass like Xbox and Sony have?

Do you think we'll be living in the "metaverse" one day?

The metaverse is something I'm not so sure about. If it's attached with Facebook, I don't know if I really want to support it. But with how things are going, I could see the metaverse becoming a virtual place people meet going forward. The internet alone is already becoming a virtual world for people, and now with the actual metaverse, I could see some people living in that virtual world.

I don't think I would ever "live" in the metaverse, but I'm willing to bet there are people who will be into that idea.

What do you think though? Will the metaverse become the new way we interact with people going forward?

Boeing 737-Sized Asteroid To Pass As Close to Earth As the Moon

Looks like the end times may be arriving. Nah just kidding, but if this story is true, we may actually be able to see the Asteroid come close to earth. I don't think we have to worry about it, as it should pass without issue, but if it were to hit earth, it would hit at 17,000 mph, as currently that's what it's going at. Not sure how much damage that would do if it hit earth, but I imagine it wouldn't be great.

You can read more about this story below:

Also, had to bring this up, but they mention in the article as well, that we should be safe from impact, as there is no known asteroid that poses a threat to earth for the next 100 years. Which means, 100 years from now, it could be a different story.

Will the US be able to get Brittney Griner back?

The US is supposedly attempting to do a prisoner swap to bring Griner back home, but so far I haven't heard a whole lot on that. She got 9 years for drug possession. She is stuck in Russia for the foreseeable future. I could see Russia keeping her there as long as possible before they agree to a prisoner swap.

Do you think the US will be able to get her out? I guess Russia is taking their sweet old time in cooperating, so who knows what is going to happen at this point.

The article below discusses that they're still working to get her out, but they have to wait for some appeal stuff in the courts to go down first before they entertain the idea of a prisoner swap.

Kentucky Detective to Plead Guilty to Conspiracy in Breonna Taylor Case

Things are starting to move even further in the Breonna Taylor case, as one of the detectives (Kelly Goodlett) will plead guilty for falsifying the affidavit to in turn get the warrant that inevitably resulted in Breonna Taylor's death. Sadly, i'm not seeing any mention of being charged with murder for the people responsible, just saying shit like everyone was "charged with civil rights and obstruction offenses, as well as unlawful conspiracies and unconstitutional use of force" according to the article.

It looks like things are moving, but how long will these police officers face in jail? I have a feeling they won't get as much time as we are hoping they get.
