A Minneapolis suburb agreed to settle a lawsuit and pay $3.25 million to the family of Daunte Wright, a Black motorist killed during a traffic stop by a white police officer who mistakenly fired her handgun instead of her Taser, lawyers for his family said.

The attorneys said in a statement on Tuesday that the settlement of the wrongful death lawsuit that Wright's family filed against Brooklyn Center will not be finalized until an agreement has been reached regarding more training for the city's police officers.

"The comprehensive settlement in this tragic case will provide a meaningful measure of accountability to the family for their deep loss," they said. "The family hopes his legacy is a positive one and prevents any other family from enduring this type of grief."

Because of my slight hearing loss, I had to ask her to repeat what she said. Now, at a closer distance, she asked, "Mister, Is there anything that you could give to me because I (yada.. yada..yada..).

Even though I had given $$ to those who looked in more self-abusive dire-straits, the old sistahs well-maintained appearance indicated the results of the hard-times of finding and maintaining shelter in this culture's economy. So, in my code of 'giving from the practical excesses of "my substance" ', I took $3 of the $8's from my bill fold and gave it to her, as I added "You should more qualify your requests!".

In her distressed physical condition, her humble gratitude for the pittance I'd given her, was more centered on not having a male 'benefactor' on whom she could depend (particularly, here in VA [its own separate narrative!]), with allusions to me as someone more likely be the type she hoped to meet, which I disabused her of that fact as by relating that I'm married, tho' a complimented 2-years older than her already revealed age of 70 (April '52).

I complimented her on her general well-maintained condition and comely appearance even under the distressful circumstances she was enduring, presently, as I gave her a kiss of comfort on the side of her head.

Ol gal, once again lamented the dearth of those similar to me, but I grinned and chuckled to her (in my best psycho-puppy/Mad Assassin, Dirty Old Man voice), that all benefactors may not be what they seem, re-noting to her that the request for "ANYTHING THAT I COULD/WOULD GIVE TO HER" could have easily been in that opportunistic moment for an other, more than what was the intent of her requested plea.

With that, Ol Gal, in a less anxious and more coherent sense about her, realized how her plea could be taken by the more lustfully unscrupulous and chuckled with me in her embarrassment of what she may have received other than what she gave her humble gratitude for!

We departed in smiles, musing about that encounter and the alter-scenario that I had suggested could have happened with someone else!

TikTok user @stacks1400 made the devastating realisation after discovering his girlfriend, the mother of his child, had been having an affair with his very own grandfather while they were living with him.

Long story short: A suspected WS male named Ethan Liming and his friends had "toy" guns (which were actually discovered to be pellet / splatter guns) and they decided to ambush, harass and shoot at Black youth minding their business and playing a game of basketball.

Nobody knew what was going on and with Payton Gendron (anti-Black racist Buffalo, NY terrorist shooter) and several other anti-Black racists and WS terrorists running amok, many suspected that Ethan and his friends were literally trying to ambush and murder some Black people who were easy targets.

So the young Black boys, Tyler Stafford, Donovan Jones, Deshawn Stafford Jr. (2 brothers and 1 cousin, who are The Akron Three) who are ages 21 and under, had their fight and flight responses triggered and set on overload. Many ran from danger while these 3 young men heroically tried to stop the shooter Ethan from shooting and also tried to neutralize the threat before they and others got hurt or killed. Not long after, Liming passed away from his injuries generated by the self-defense. The whites and the locals seethed, became outraged and demanded for these 3 young men to be found and arrested for murder and other charges.

The whites and as well as the white media and news sites are painting Ethan Liming out to be a completely helpless, innocent victim and claiming that "he was just being a teenager and didn't do nothing" and that "it was just a toy gun and a prank, not cool man, he was only 17" while painting the 3 young Black men who defended themselves and their community to be "vicious evil thugs and savage criminals."

This is not right at all. These young Black men did not know that they were being so-called "pranked" (shooting at people with guns is not a prank btw, especially during these times). It's safe to say that Ethan Liming's intentions were clearly not as good and as innocent as his family, the police, and whites and making it out to be. Many whites are often insensitive and find sick pleasure in targeting us as well as our suffering as evidenced by the non-Blacks that were caught laughing at the Buffalo shooting. But to them, this is their own "Tamir Rice" situation even though you can't even compare this situation to 12-year-old Tamir Rice, who these very same racist whites wrongfully attacked and heartlessly blamed for causing his very own death. They never even found the alleged toy gun Tamir Rice had and he was still murdered by cops over a freaking rumor by a white male Karen that called 911 on him because Tamir's presence of Blackness and alone was seen as a threat.

I mean seriously, what are people supposed to do to defend themselves and others when you have cowardly cops in Uvalde allowing for kids to be ruthlessly killed? Despite producing nearly $11 billion worth of goods and services each year, incarcerated workers in the U.S. earn an average of just between 13 cents and 52 cents per hour across the country, according to a new report.

A new American Civil Liberties Union report published Wednesday said that wages are low, and that in most cases the government takes up to 80 percent of the pay for room and board, court costs, restitution and other fees, including the construction and maintenance of prisons.

Incarcerated workers produce more than $2 billion per year in goods and more than $9 billion per year in services for the maintenance of the prisons, the report added.

According to the report, the wage deductions leave the workers with less than half of their gross pay, from which they are expected to cover the cost of their own hygiene products and medical care.

Almost 70 percent of incarcerated workers who were polled said they cannot afford basic necessities with their prison wages.

The report also found that prison workers in seven states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina and Texas — are not paid any compensation for majority of their work.

The ACLU also found that more than 76 percent of incarcerated workers surveyed by the Bureau of Justice Statistics say that “they are required to work or face additional punishments such as solitary confinement, denial of opportunities to reduce their sentence, and loss of family visitation.”

According to the report, prisoners cannot choose what type of work they do and are allegedly “subject to arbitrary, discriminatory, and punitive decisions by the prison administrators who select their work assignments.”

Many incarcerated workers also do hazardous work in unsafe conditions. As a result of poor data collection, the true number of workers injured on the job is unknown, the report added.

“Prison labor is inherently coercive and exploitative. Incarcerated workers are not protected by standard labor laws, like minimum wages, overtime protection, the right to unionize, and workplace safety guarantees,” according to the ACLU report.

The authors of the report have demanded that prisons around the country raise the wages of incarcerated workers to allow them to pay for expenses like “child support, phone calls home and commissary costs, while supporting their families and saving for eventual reentry into the society.”

They have also asked that lawmakers amend the Constitution to abolish the 13th Amendment exclusion that allows slavery and involuntary servitude as punishment for a crime.

More than 1.2 million people in the U.S. are currently incarcerated in state and federal prisons, of whom approximately two-thirds are employed in the prison system.

At this point, we know good and damn well that children are being targeted sexually through child specific entertainment.

GWINNETT, Ga — A Lawrenceville judge handed out a 140-year sentence to a Gwinnett teen on Monday after police said she shot and killed a woman in 2021.

Prosecutors say Damia Mitchell, 17, fired up to 19 shots at a home on Valentine’s Day 2021, killing Faith Burns in a Dacula area subdivision. Police said that Mitchell and Burns did not know each other, but the Burns knew Mitchell’s ex-girlfriend.

Mitchell had sent texts to the ex-girlfriend that she planned to shoot up her house and jump her. Police said Burns just happened to be at the ex-girlfriend’s home when Mitchell and four other girls showed up at the house and started shooting.


Prosecutors argued that the shooting was a gang-related ex-lovers’ quarrel. The four other girls who went to the home were charged along with Mitchell.

But Mitchell’s family said her sentence is too much.

Channel 2 Gwinnett County Bureau Chief Tony Thomas has been following the story since it broke in February 2021. Michell’s family said the 17-year-old had no record and insists that she wasn’t the shooter.

“I just know something needs to be done. What they did in court wasn’t right,” Vanissa Jackson, Mitchell’s mother, said. “She is not the shooter. She didn’t do this.”

Mitchell’s aunt, Lena Hall, said the 140-year sentence would rob her of her life.

“No record, a child. She won’t even get the opportunity to live her life, have her own kids,” Hall said.

Prosecutors painted a very different picture of Mitchell, calling her a killer who is tied deeply to the street gang life.

The jury didn’t convict Mitchell of murder, instead opting for voluntary manslaughter, three counts of aggravated assault and eight counts of street gang terrorism. The jury found she wasn’t carrying a gun, and she was not declared guilty of two other gang charges.

Another of Mitchell’s aunts, identified only as Dori, said her niece had known the girls involved in the fight since elementary school.

The family plans to protest at the county courthouse tomorrow.

According to the district attorney’s office, the other four defendants in the case have yet to go to trial.

Brett Blomme – a former head of the Cream City LGBTQ+ Foundation which runs a Drag Queen Story Hour program – was arrested on charges of possession of child pornography.​

Blomme, 38, was taken into custody “following an investigation into multiple uploads of child pornography through a Kik messaging application account in October and November 2020,” according to a statement.


A 44-page search warrant filed Friday by a Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) special agent said investigators found Blomme, using the name “dommasterbb,” uploaded 27 videos and images containing child pornography. Two of the files were uploaded at a Milwaukee County government building, the search warrant said,” a summary notes.

Blomme formerly served as the President of the Cream City Foundation from 2017 to 2020, which describes itself as “mobilizing philanthropic resources by harnessing the pride, passion, and commitment of LGBTQ+.”

The foundation also runs a Drag Queen Story Hour program, an event that “captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models.”

“In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real” a description adds.

A Macomb County jury convicted a 39-year-old Oakland County man of all 15 criminal counts against him for the horrific slaying of three Warren residents, including a 6-year-old boy, in fall 2020.

A jury deliberated about three hours Friday afternoon before convicting Nicholas Bahri of three counts each of first-degree premeditated and first-degree felony murder, seven gun charges, arson and mutilation of a body, for the shooting deaths of Tukoyo Moore, 32, his 6-year-old son, Tai’Raz, and his fiancee Isis Rimson, 28.

The verdicts were delivered following a six-day trial in front of Judge Edward Servitto in Macomb County Circuit Court.

Bahri will be ordered June 15 to serve life in prison without parole.
Rimson’s mother, Derlander Farmer, said both families are glad about the verdicts.

“We know that we can’t bring our family members back but we’re happy this man will be off the streets because he is a menace to society and would do it again. Farmer said. “What he did was inhuman and uncessary, and he has not shown any remorse.”

She said Bahri could have spared the lives of her daughter and Tai’Raz after he had killed Moore outside of his Bloomfield Hills.
