I was thinking about this question after being called a pro-black militant tonight at a kick back. The problem with the statement is that it was used as a pejorative by a shea-butter twitter type with a septum piercing. So I want to ask the ZERONATION what does Pro Black mean to you? To me it's:
- Advocating for the interest of Black people
- Standing on my square as a Black person
- Wanting and working towards the betterment of Black people
- Being Black and proud
- Prioritizing other Black people
Nothing about it is radical, militant, or wrong but we are in such a racist society that the above is a radical concept. Asians, Hispanics, and etc can practice all of the above but when we do it we are radical. There's been some great brainwashing done to our people.
So what does Pro Black mean to you and do you think it is the same as B1?
Bonus Question: What does pro black mean to you when used in a negative context?
