You ever hear of this?

I had a video playing the other day. Wasn't paying much attention to it but I heard what this guy saying about "significant other".

He explained the role of that phrase in a relationship is "sign-if-i-can't" and it deals with credit. I never noticed it before this and it makes sense. Like when you are in a relationship, your significant other is meant to balance you out emotionally, mentally, and financially. This is assuming you are in a healthy relationship. When it comes to marriage it is ideal that both people have good credit but so long as one does, the whole "sign-if-i-can't" factors in.

Just an interesting thing I never knew about or noticed before.

Would you ever go back in time to change something in your life?

If it was possible to travel back in time and change something, either about your life, or something in history, what would you change and why? Personally I have always wanted to go back from the day I was born to adulthood with all that I know now. Maybe play the lottery, attempt to date the women I liked growing up, tell off the bullies I hated dealing with, and so much more. I think if I could, I would go back and live a healthier life, and ensure my future is more healthy.

But of course, there's a problem with time travel, in that changing any aspect of the past, could result in big time changes. I mean, traveling back in time could result in bad outcomes. Because one small change, can result in so much in the future to change as well. The idea of traveling back in time sounds fun, but then you have to consider that you may not meet the people you know now. Or it could result in a whole new world.

Going back in the past to assassinate Hitler for example, could also result in massive changes to the world. So idk about time travel. I want to be able to go back and relive certain points in my life, but I also don't want to end up missing out on some of the parts I already live. Do you get what I mean?

idk, time travel is wild, and there's just so much crazy shit that goes into it. What do you guys think? Would you go back in time to change something in your life? Or would you just leave it be?

Did you ever end up dating a best friend?

I used to hang out with this girl in middle school and highschool back when I was a little guy. We were great friends, and often talked to each other about the people we were into. I eventually started to get feelings for her though, and it became tough to hang out with her because of it. Eventually, in high school I confessed my interest in her and it in turn destroyed our friendship I believe. At first it wasn't bad, because she kinda accepted it and then was like, it's okay, we can still be friends. But she slowly stopped talking to me and then we just never hung out again.

I knew it was because of me confessing my interest in her, that she no longer bothered to hang out with me. It sucks looking back, because she was an awesome person to hang out with, and was a great friend to me. But I blew it by sharing too much. I often think what would happen if I never said those things to her. Maybe we would have been friends to this very day.

Have you ever confessed your love or interest in a friend? How did it go? Did it destroy the friendship or change it in some way?

Bad shopping experiences online

Since COVID-19 hit in 2020, a lot of people became regular online shoppers. I have been online shopping for most things (outside of groceries and things like that) since like 2010. I love it. It is convenient, easy, and more often than not I can find better deals online. I noticed though in the last few years, especially since last year, I am running into more and more issues. My packages go missing, I get sent the wrong items, items arrive broke, orders get canceled... I can go on and on. It can be a real hot mess ordering online sometimes.
What are some bad shopping experiences you have had with online shopping? Feel free to put the store on blast for it. mjlol

What Browser do you use?

I currently use Vivaldi, it's pretty clean, customizable and fast. I used to swear by Chrome and Firefox, both seem to slow down after a year or so. I've been using Vivaldi for a while and won't use anything else.

34 Years Later, Sankara's Murder Trial to Begin in Burkina Faso

34 Years Later, Sankara's Murder Trial to Begin in Burkina Faso
The long-awaited trial for the murder of Thomas Sankara - assassinated in a coup d'etat which brought exiled former president Blaise Compaore to power - has been set for October 11, military prosecutors have announced.

The proceedings, which will be held in public, will begin at 9am local time. It has taken 34 years for the case to finally come to court. Guy Hervé Kam, one of the lawyers representing families of victims, told RFI it was a victory and "a time for truth" for the families.

Compaore and 12 others face charges of harming state security, complicity in murder and complicity in the concealment of corpses. Among those accused alongside Compaore is General Gilbert Diendere, Compaore's former right-hand man and a former head of the elite Presidential Security Regiment (RSP) at the time of the coup.

Now 70, Compaore currently lives in Cote d'Ivoire, where he fled after being ousted and where he has since taken citizenship. Unless he chooses to present himself for trial, he will be judged in absentia.

I really hope France gets held accountable
